The OCDP Venice is a 4-piece drum shell pack that features basswood shells and offers great power, projection, and edgy looks. Pro features include the uniquely offset black lugs (staggered—not directly in line with each other—for a more custom look), black hoops, and matching wood bass drum hoops. These drums also feature the OCDP "V" Suspension tom mounting system, which allows the toms more freedom to vibrate for more resonance and tone. Cymbals and hardware sold separately.

    I got this kit the other day and have loved it. It dosn't only look sweet but sounds awesome! The kick has a huge BOOM sound, the snare is my favorite because its so tight and fast. I chaned the stock heads to remo because those are my favorite and make the kit alot better. Get it tuned right and you'll fall in love. I play punk, and I would deffinitely recommend this kit to anyone.

    I got this kit for my band Dead On Saturday. I prefer 4 pieces over anything, but the only sizes I could find that weren't like $2000+ were way too small (18x16 bass drums, 10x6 toms). So when I found this, I thought it was worth a shot, even though the price kind of scared me into thinking it would be just okay. It came, I tuned it up with the stock heads still on, and everything sounded amazing! All I needed was a new resonant bass head (didn't feel like cutting a hole) and it was great! The bass is definitely the best part. I got the white onyx, preferring a smaller snare and bass drum so I can position easier. Definitely give this kit a try because it's the best drum purchase I've ever made.

    I got the Venice kit in the 5-piece green sparkle, which consists of a 22x20 kick, 10x8 and 12x9 toms, 16x14 floor tom, and a 14x6 snare. Let me say, this kit is phenominal! I put Evans EC2 batter heads on all the toms and they sound fantastic (way better than the Remo Ambassadors they try to pass off as batter heads)! The 10x8 tom almost sounds like something out of the Latin family, which makes it a good accents drum. The toms are all warm with no annoying overtones, with the right heads. The snare is just a big loud crack when tuned tight, and tuned loosely makes it just right, although the stock head does cause it to have some unnecessary ring to it. The kick, WOW! just blew my freaking mind when I started fluttering away on double bass (with a stock generic head on it). It is sooo deep and makes a kind of thudding sound, but with depth to it. This kit is well worth the $600. I don't plan on changing any time soon.
