Overview

The Rockerverb 100 MK II tube head builds on the proven Rockerverb formula and improves the tonal range available to players.

This 100W, all-tube, two-channel head offers the ability to switch from the stock EL34 power tubes to 6L6s, KT88s, or 6550s, giving you access to an incredible array of rich tube sounds.

The Rockerverb 100 MK II's clean channel delivers a super-rich tone with beautiful harmonic overtones. It's also a non-master channel, much like on a vintage Orange amp, so when the amp is cranked the power section will break up and deliver delicious, classic British crunch that's perfect for rock and blues.

The Dirty channel on the Rockerverb 100 MK II is no one-trick pony. Going from full gain and winding back gives you a variety of classic Orange tones. Whether you're looking for metal, fusion, blues, rock, or even country the Rockerverb 100 MK II doesn't fall short.

The Rockerverb 100 MK II also comes standard with footswitchable reverb and an FX loop.

talk about a killer sound...

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

After trying out several other Orange amps including the Crush line, I opted for the 100W Rockerverb. Was more expensive but I've been gigging with it a lot lately in both small and large halls and it never fails to give me the sound quality I need at the volume I need. At first I was hesitant and thought the 50W version would be more suitable but the 100W still sounds awesome at lower volumes and can kick out the jams in the larger venues. And the tube sound....can't beat it with anything solid state. If you're considering a Crush model primarily because of the price difference, I'd recommending saving up more pennies and getting a Rockerverb. You won't regret it.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp is absolutely sicknasty. I have the Orange Rockerverb 100 series and it is literally everything I ever dreamed of. I hardly ever use the clean channel, as I play in a heavy southern rock band, but it has the best booming crystal clear sparkly sounding clean tone Ive ever played, and the dirty channel...oh my... You can set the dirty channel to play dirty blues with just a little warm tube break up coming through with low gain. Then you can crank it just a little and get that fat classic rock tone. Take the gain over 12 oclock and even drop tuning if you'd like and you can play flat out hardcore or death metal with all the chugs and lows coming through with a warm fat resonance in the cab that will literally shake the venue without even being mic'd up. There is a reason the Brit's make these things so expensive. Sickest amp on the market that you can buy that hasn't been customized by like a boutique company or something ungodly expensive like that. Bout to take this on tour.
