The Orange Rocker RK30HTC 30W tube guitar amp head from the 30 Series is an all-tube, 30-watt, Class A operation channel-switching head. This tube amplifier combines a single stage clean channel with a three-stage preamp lead channel. The natural channel has just one control (natural volume) that takes you through many shades of perfectly balanced, bell-like clean tones, until you hit the very musical harmonic overdrive of the output tubes. The Orange Rocker amp head's dirty channel takes you all the way from a super clean chime, through many colors of vintage overdrive. Tones that bite like a shark, all the way through to a very fat, harmonically intense, full-on distortion that has to be played to be believed.
Natural channel control: volume
Dirty channel control: gain/low/middle/high/volume
Output: 30W (RMS)
Tubes: Preamp - 3 x ECC83, Output 2 x EL34
Speaker impedance: 1 x 16ohms, 2 x 8ohms
Dimensions: (W x H x D) 21-3/4"W x 10"H x 9-1/2"D

This amp is fantastic. The only amps I had before getting this were solid state, so when I first plugged into this beauty, my mind was blown. The tone was even better than all-tube Marshalls I had played at Guitar Center. My style has shifted over the years I have owned it, but this amp still is adaptable to most styles. My only gripe with it would be its lack of reverb, but with a good reverb pedal this can be remedied.
Tone heaven!!! You can get anything from clear cleans to heavy metal. I was really surprised at how much distortion you could get out of the dirty channel. When you crank up that volume, you can get some HEAVY sounds. It was giving my DSL-100 a run for its money. You can get any level of distortion you want, from slight fuzz to classic rock to Metal. I am really pleased with the range of sounds the Rocker 30 can cover. It is not limited to one sound or genre of music. It is a superb amp. The quality is great and the thing looks cool. I can wait to get one!
If you can afford to do so, buy this amp! I have been playing for 11 or 12 years now and this by far is the best amp I have ever played through. I play mainly a Gibson SG Standard through it, but I also have a Tim Armstrong Gretsch, a Gretsch 6118 anni, and a Epiphone Les Paul 60's tribute that I am sure will all sound awesome through this amp. Before I got this amp for my birthday I played through Marshall's MG and JCM amps as well as Peavey amps, and this Orange Rocker 30 blows them out of the water. If you buy this amp there will be no regrets!
