I love so many things about this little amp! The tone quality is amazing! It can get very loud for a small amp but it keeps it's composure. I lead praise n worship at my church with a congregation of 200 or so and I just send the signal to the p.a. and I have no complaints, it still sounds great! I've had 2 other praise n worship leaders say that can't believe I get all of that sound out of that little amp.

I got this to use as a practice amp. I needed to replace a Fender Bullet that started to have intermittent issues. When I set it up in my music room I noticed that it lacked the brightness I like and was accustomed to from my Fender and my Marshall AVT50. It seems more noticeable on the clean channel. Bummer. So I'm going back to GC to exchange it.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Crush35RT 35W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

I used one of these at GC when shopping for a guitar and assumed it was a tube amp, because it sounds like a tube amp. I played professionally for 12 years and owned a 1960 Fender Super Amp, a 1972 100 watt Marshall Plexi stack and numerous other Fenders and Marshall-type amps. Tubes hold no special fascination for me, I've had to replace them and listen to them go bad for years, so I am very open to a good sounding solid state amp, which has been an oxymoron in the past. This is the first one I've used that really has the tube sound.

I waited for six months after buying mine at GC Reno to write a review to get a chance to find any bugs or QC issues, but the amp has been flawless. It's built like a tank. The speaker sounded kind of bass-less at first, but this went away with break-in, as I expected it would.

If you are looking for a dark metal sound or real heavy gain without pedals, this probably isn't the amp for you. Even with the gain and overdrive controls maxed, the sound is crunchy blues or 80s metal, maybe even a little light for that. For me, that is the sound I'm looking for and is hard to find out of the box on most modern amps; they all seem to have too much gain to dial in a nice biting sound, which this amp does perfectly.

If you play with an acoustic drummer and are looking for a stage amp, this probably isn't it either. It will get pretty loud but it doesn't really have the dispersion with its 10 inch speaker to be real stage amp in most situations. You might want to opt for the 60 watt Pix version.

I wanted a home practice amp that didn't make me tear my hair out trying to get a good sound, like a lot of amps I've owned. This is a great low-maintenance practice amp and maybe low volume stage amp, so don't try to make it something it wasn't meant to be and you should be perfectly happy with it.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Crush35RT 35W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

This is the best sounding amp in its price range. I bought it as a practice amp to supplement my Marshall tube amp. The clean channel in particular sounds great with the reverb. The built-in tuner is very accurate. I bought the optional foot switch to change between clean and dirty channels. The amp is really loud at 35 watts, so you could use it with a band. Sure, it doesn't compete with a high-end Marshall or some of the better tube amps, but at 1/7th the cost, it's pretty impressive. I recommend this amp for home practice or for someone starting out. By the way, I played the 35RT along side the 20RT. The 35RT is distinctly better sounding. Most likely because of the larger speaker. So I would buy the 35RT even if you don't need the power.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Crush35RT 35W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

I did not need this amp. I am the owner of an Orange th30 combo, Blacstar ht5, ht5 Metal 5 combo,Blackstar ht1 and 4x8 cab and Randall Warhead combo. Went into GC to look at a used item. Saw the new 35 rt on the floor and figured I would give it a try. I was floored by the sound at low volume. Sounds as good as my Blackstar ht Metal 5 combo, and that is saying a lot. I consider myself a bit of a tube snob, but this solid state amp is fantastic. These amps have come a long way. I brought my humble Ibanez RG with a Duncan Invader in bridge tuned to C standard for the demo. This amp is warm with massive gain. No pedal is needed to get that wooly mid heavy Orange tone. I could not leave without buying it. Clean channel is great as well. The reverb is very responsive. This amp sounds as good as any amp I have ever played at a lower volume. Don't look past it because it is solid state, like I almost did. Special thanks to Johnny at Crestwood Mo GC for helping me with this.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Crush35RT 35W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

Just picked up this amp. Was originally going to purchase a Vox tube amp, but this offered a better sound for a lot less money. Very easy to get the sound you want, Excellent cleans, easy to dial in just the right amount of distortion/crunch you want. I have always been a Fender man, and still prefer the clean sound of the Fender, as the Orange clean, while excellent is just different. Great amp, great sounding speaker, well built loud, and very affordable. I recommend this product.

This amp sounds extremely good, I'm amazed that it is a solid state. The cleans are very good, mid gain is great and lots of gain sounds very good also if that's your thing. The sound cleans up very nicely when the guitars volume is turned down when at high gain, just like a tube amp. It's about the cutest practice amp you can buy, also the tuner and reverb works good. At this price don't hesitate, just buy it.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Crush35RT 35W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

This little Orange is a Beast! I plug in my SG, turn the volume up, and the overdrive is Nasty! (Nasty is a good thing!) Dirty works great on this thing as well. I plug the Taylor in and this thing produces some sweet, mellow sounds. Played around with my bass for some nice funky thumpy booming! Great all-around amp. Even my dad was impressed, and he's a Fender Tube kinda guy! No wonder ""The Word Alive"" uses Orange! I could see Jimi kicking over an Orange if he were still amazing us with his jamming! Yours, Ceb Ralloh

Excellent amp for practice, recording, small gigs. Cleans are clear and crisp, but sound colored, as if you are playing a great amp in a room with bad acoustics. Perhaps I am just use to the natural cleans associated with my Fender amps. All in all a great amp for the money.

Just picked this amp up today after many months of reviews and looking at all the different type of amps out there in this price range. I made the right choice for me. This amp sounds wonderful, looks great, easy to use and is made solid. I tried a modeling amp only to spend more time playing with buttons then playing music. If your looking for a simple, great sounding practice amp or even a amp to recorde with, give this crush a look at, it might be just what you need.
