  Very happy with my new Orange bass amp! I've been a solid state player for many years, until a few weeks ago, when my Terror Bass 1000 head arrived. I used it a few days later on my bass gig that Friday/Saturday, and it blew me and my band-mates away!! Gave me just the right amount of dirt that I was looking for, which my solid state head couldn't provide. The amount of headroom this amp produces is amazing as well. I dialed in the gain around 11 o'clock, and turned up the master just a few notches, which was plenty loud in this mid-sized club gig. The amount of low end this amp produces is quite impressive as well. I had to cut the bass pot back to 11 o'clock, and still had a ton of low end pumping out of my cabs. I was really impressed with how great this amp sounded when I plugged-in my NS/Stick at rehearsal the following week. Each note was very punchy/tight/articulate, and way louder than I usually play, without my speakers farting out. The construction is top notch, and all the components are solid. I went with the re-packaged/refurbished option (not sure if anything was repaired on this unit, but want to contact the company to find out), and so far, all is working fine. Very impressed with this amp, and I think every bassist should have one of these in their arsenal. -JIBILIAN
