• Why buy an item made from CHINA, when you can get a Crush 12w for the Same Price????

  This item is ok but, it's a big waste in the $ department for any guitarist! For the same price you can buy A REAL ORANGE AMP: The Crush 12watt that is made in England like all true Orange amps are! Plus it has double the wattage and a much better sound! The micro crush however sounds like crap on overdrive and just ok on clean. Another downside to this micro amp is the fact that you have to SPEND AN EXTRA $20 (sold separately) on a plug for it if you ever what save it constantly dying form running on battery power. So if you add the 20 dollars to the price you are paying at least $100 for something that was cheaply made in china and is only 6 watts. Save yourself the time and money and just buy the Orange Crush 12 watt amp which is the same price as this that sounds a 100 times better then this little thing or just buy an altogether different amp instead and make sure you check to see where it was made (watch out for cheapo outsourced knockoffs!!!).

  I think the main selling point of this amp is that it's stereo and makes a great headphone amp. To compare it to a a regular mono amp is comparing apples and oranges (really bad pun). And it's super portable. You're probably not going to gig with this amp, but it's not really made for that. It is what it is and does what it does very well.

• Great for travelling

  I received this amp accidentally when a friend went to buy the other orange micro crush. While the sound obviously won't be as good as a bigger amp, it's great for playing in your room or hotels. Being an international traveler, I just wanted an amp that I could throw in my suitcase and go, which it is perfect for. The line-in is also pretty nifty, because the stereo sound allows you to use it as a mini boombox, should you so desire. One of the neat things about it are the knobs for guitar straps on the sides. Being that it can run on battery, it's a perfect amp for being able to do street performances and whatnot. While not the best amp, it gets the job done.
