This awesome Orange mini practice amp sports 20W, switchable overdrive, auxiliary in, master volume, headphone out, and an 8" speaker for a great price.

The first thing you notice about Orange Crush amplifiers is their cool looks. Just like their bigger brothers, they have the legendary Orange basket weave Tolex, woven speaker grille, beading and legendary hieroglyphs (PiX) and of course the Orange signature 'picture frame' edging. But it's not just cool looks—plug into the Orange Crush PiX CR20L amp or any of these great little amplifiers and you'll soon realize they are Orange through and through.

The 20W 1x8 Orange Crush CR20L guitar combo amp from the PiX Series features 3-band EQ control to better define your guitar sound. The switchable overdrive kicks your guitar into high-gear with plenty of heavy tone. The auxiliary input is great for an MP3 player, for playing along to, or just jamming out with the loudspeaker. The headphone out makes the Orange CR20L a great silent practice amp.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

  • Output: 20W RMS

  • Great Practice Amp

As reviewed by Jim on 9/1/2010

I needed a good practice amp for my apartment and my choices were narrowed down to this amp and the vox pathfinder. This won over the vox because it had an aux connection and headphones (Vox only has headphones) which I find very useful when I want to learn songs or play along with some tracks late at night. I didn't need the LDX version because I have my own pedalboard. The cleans sound good and when you increase the gain, it gets a bit crunchy. The overdrive channel gets fizzy sounding when the gain is set high, but i don't use it since I have a TS pedal. I can get good amount of control over my sound since it has a low, mid, & high. If I'm not using headphones, my volume is set pretty low because this amp can get pretty loud for a bedroom. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. For $115.00 it's a great practice amp for your bedroom.

  • Great Little Practice Amp

As reviewed by Mike on 9/20/2010

I just got this amp a few weeks ago. I needed something to practice with late at night using an MP3 and headphones. This amp really rocks. I was very impressed with the seperation with my guitar and MP3 player. I was able to blend them to my liking. I love the sound of Orange amps in general. They have a nice crunch to them without sounding to much like a Marshall. And this one is no exception. Don't get me wrong, I like Marshalls. However, when playing a variety of different music, its nice to have a versatile amp. The clean sounds very nice as well. It would be nice to have a little reverb, but it is what it is. Overall its a nice little, simple practice amp without any bells and whistles. I guess I could spend a few more dollars for a few effects, but I have all the pedals I need. It does take well to pedals as well. For the price, you really can't go wrong.
