Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Use for live performances. Combined with Markbass 800 Tube, great tone, punch, and volume. With two cabs is can easily handle small to medium venues as stand alone. For outdoors or large venues, can easily patch into sound reinforcement. Easily fits into trunk or back seat, very light but solid construction.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Use for live shows. More than enough as stand alone for small to medium venues (I use two cabs to get full 800 watts from Markbass 800). For outdoor concerts or large venues I line to the sound system. Very versitile to get the sound you want. Two cabs fit in the back seat of my car. Light in weight, but very solid/durable. I've had these for almosr a year now, absolutely no regrets on this purchase.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

The 102P combo amp paired with the 151P cabinet makes the perfect rig for me. The sweet lows from the 15" plus the the punch from the two 10" provides the touch of funk to the traditional country and southern rock our band plays. I play with a pick and the Mark Bass setup works perfect for that as well as finger style that I use occasionally. Couldn't be more pleased.

I may be the only country picker to use Mark Bass, at least in this part of the USA. I believe more will follow if they hear or try Mark Bass products.

      Just What I Needed!

      By Robert DiIenno _

      from Cherry Hill, NJ

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

For years I'd been having a tough time trying to find that "Perfect Bass Tone". I've gone through them all, Ampeg, G-K, Genz Benz, Hartke etc. I've used compressors, bass drivers, and other pedals to try and find what I was looking for but was never able to get that sound. Last week I went home from GC in Cherry Hill with a Markbass CMD 102P Combo. This week I went back and picked up the Traveler 151P to go with it. All I can say is...I FOUND IT! The tone, the volume and the weight of this combination is unbelievable! Many thanks to Jim, Alex and Vince at GC, these guys are the best!

      Good sounding cabinet

      By Marco Brown

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I paired this up with the Little Mark 800 an I am well pleased with the sound. I've only had it about 3 weeks now. Like a lot of bass players I have been through basses, amps , and effects while looking for a signature sound. I did take out the warranty since it's made in Italy just as a precaution. It's a pretty light cabinet compared to some that I've owned in the past. Looking forward to seeing how road worthy they both are.

      Great extension cab

      By Dominic

      from Baltimore

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I pair this extension cab with the Markbass CMD102P. It really fills out my sound, adding some nice warmth and depth. The weight of the cab is great, as I do not have the desire to lug around 500 lbs worth of equipment when gigging or jamming with buddies. I wouldn't recommend this set-up if you're looking for full blown, on stage rock n' roll. However, if you can mic, DI (the CMD provides an 'out'). The extension cab makes this a great smaller gig stand alone rig. Highly recommended for the church/coffeeshop/intimate gig type of player that needs a nice injection of bottom end beef.

      Big booty!

      By Jaime

      from Boston, MA

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I have this cab along with a 102p and LM3 Tube 800. I love it, no regrets at all! This is how loud it is! I was giggin on stage, and the drum player next to me that's about 5ft away from tells me to turn it down 'cause it's too loud! Super clean, big booty sound! Lots of low-end!

      Pure Goldilocks.

      By Eric

      from Houston, TX

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I've tried almost every Markbass amp there is and many of there cabs as well, and they've all been fantastic... exceptive for one thing here or one thing there. Usually I'll have fantastic power handling, but just a little to much size and weight (410HF), or the be beautifully portable and loud but lack the low end slam needed for slightly bigger gigs (CMD121P). Then I found this cab, and mated with the F500 (the amp I finally settled on), the cab has the big sound with out the broken back, and I can carry it all to the stage from my car in one trip. HIGHLY recommend for regular giggers and stage bassists like me.

      Found My Sound!

      By Funky Ol' Lady

      from California

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I put this together with the new Markbass Little Mark Tube amp (FABULOUS AMP!), and I have finally found "My Sound!" I have used the Little Mark II amp/MB New York 604 which were a good combo, but I just couldn't get enough low end WITH DEFINITION that I was looking for. The light weight portability was fabulous, however, so I wanted that plus more low end. Well, with the LM Tube/MB Traveler 151P combination gives me exactly that -- plenty of guts WITH CLEAN DEFINITION to cut thru any mix. It will handle all but the largest venues for which I would add a 410. My bass has never sounded better! I like this amp/cab rig far better than the Jeff Berlin, which, by the way is certainly no loser! Check this rig out, you'll love it.
