Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

Extremely pleased with this phono preamp. It's been almost a full year since I've purchased it and this little thing still doing the job with pristine sound and clear atmosphere. I'm thinking on purchasing a second one for another turntable I have. This is a great product \,,/

Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

Ive only used it to amplify a turntable through a very inexpensive bookshelf system. However, it sounds good, was inexpensive, and the plug-and-play ease are to be commended. Highly recommended for those non-audiophiles of us who are looking to play our old vinyl collection.

Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

This is a solid piece of equipment. I bought this Pre-amp for recording old Junior High School jazz records for YouTube. This device worked perfectly. The new connectors are tight, so make sure the cables are pushed in all the way. I took it apart out of curiosity, the circuit board has solid properly soldered connections! Sturdy. Having the ground post is a must to eliminate the 60Hz buzz.

Worked fine until the right side stopped working. Tried different cables and everything. Going to trade for a new one. Hopefully it works.

          Works exactly how it should

Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

This preamp works perfectly for my system. I got an old record player but only have a compact stereo/home theater system. Before I had to crank the volume all the way and still got hardly any sound. Now I get full sound and only have to turn my stereo up a little bit. Worked great with my record player ground and has absolutely no buzz or hum. Clear sound and great boost for such a little unit. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a decent preamp

Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

This unit when working sounded horrible. The grounding on it barely worked. About a little less than a year after purchasing it the plug burned and melted. It is always on so be careful. I would recommend anyone currently using it to unplug after each use.

          Great little preamp!

Comments about BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamp:

I currently own a TT USB turntable, but the thing sounded horrible when transferring records to my computer. You could hear the motor during the quiet parts of the song. I currently own a Rega P3 turntable, which is a far superior table than my former TT USB. I did some research, and for the money, this is the best preamp I could find. I hooked it up to my Rega, and stopped at Radio Shack to purchase an audio cord to connect the two. It works just as its described, and it sounds better than any USB turntable out there. I recommend this to anyone with a turntable who wants to convert vinyl to MP3's. My friend has had one of these for YEARS, and it still works great.
