I have a feeling that maybe for lighter speakers there wouldn't be much of an issue but the speakers and these poles have a mind of their own. They aren't stable or centered. JBL X200s are on these poles in a Peavey 118 sub and they wobble around. The poles have a small rubber ring that should be stabilizing it from moving around but its flimsy and thin. I might have to use gaft tape to keep it stable.

I bought this item to use on top of a behringer b1800hp subwoofer. It is not a tight fit. Which means the speakers on top have space to wiggle. Also when I placed the pole on the wooden table as I was taking it out of the box the top Ca of the pool cracked. Not reassuring of quality.

Comments about On-Stage Stands SS-7745 Subwoofer Mounting Speaker Shaft Pole:

I DJ as a side job and actually do a lot of volunteer work with schools and community events. I don't always have the budget to invest a lot of money at one time. These were inexpensive and work Great. Very appreciative of Guitar Center's help!

Sub speaker pole, easy to use and adjustable. Might need to add a shim on the base and speaker area to keep it from wobbling.

        Works well for the price

Comments about On-Stage Stands SS-7745 Subwoofer Mounting Speaker Shaft Pole:

I too have Peavey subs and found the best way to use these was to extend the telescoping top all the up and turn it uspide down and place the top into the peavey sub. This way it keeps the speaker high enough up and secure. The Peavey sub has a mount that goes all the way through the speaker. For the sum of each these can't be beat. The peavey poles for my subs are $40.00 each.

Comments about On-Stage Stands SS-7745 Subwoofer Mounting Speaker Shaft Pole:

My brand new Peavey subwoofers have an 1 1/2" receiver. I had to make a spacer to make these work. I couldn't return them because the frieght costs more than I paid for them. You need to have a couple of options regarding sizes. I've measured 5 other receivers and all of them were 1 1/2".
