Overview

If your knees had ears, then maybe you'd be able to hear yourself play with your combo amp sitting on the floor. But that's not the only reason you need an On-Stage Pro Tiltback Amplifier Stand. With your combo amp up off the floor and angled towards your ear, not only can you hear yourself without having to constantly turn up and increase stage noise, your amp also has better projection to the audience. You also gain easy access to your controls. No more bending over and mooning the audience while you make adjustments. One more benefit; nobody accidentally kicks in your grill cloth or guitar speaker on a crowded stage.

The strength and versatility of this stand comes from the double clutch disk that allows you to remove and rotate the support arm assembly. The solid steel double stamped 3" disk allows for a secure locking position every time! The A-Frame base with 1" square tubing construction will adjust its floor spread in order for you to get the most support under your amp. Ridged end caps keep all metal surfaces off of the ground and act as a shock absorber.

On Stage Amp Stand

By Rick Stanley

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

This is a great little amp stand. I just use it at home with a 30 watt Line 6 on it. It is very sturdy and fully adjustable. Both height and tilting the amp.

On Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand

By Marcy Heim

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

We use Bose 802's for our stage monitors in additon to out front. For years we have been tiling them in the case back or setting them on chairs. The angle is really never quite right. These new stands are PERFECT! They may have been made for an amp, but they are GREAT to adjsut stage monitors to the perfect height and angle. They also fold up for easy hauling!

Convenient & strong

By Emanuel

from Chicago, IL

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

This amp stand is best combination between portability and strength. If you want something SUPER-secure, you might want to use something bulkier and something that takes longer to install. In terms of portability, it is probably the best amp stand out there (although I wish it was even more portable!), and the durability and strength seems to hold up extremely well also. There's nothing else I would get.

On Stage Amp Stand

By Billy C the AZ Kid

from El Mirage AZ

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

This amp stand is the best by far for me. It adjusts for height and tilt just like it says. I have 3 proels and they are good but not as good as this On Stage Stand. If I ever have a need for another, this would be my choice.

Great Stand!

By AL MOWREY

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I have seen others, I'm glad I waited. This stand tilts to any angle and height. The adjustment as notches that hold your setting solidly in place, no friction disc on this unit. This unit will fold to a very compact size easily for packing and is very sturdy. I trust it with my prized tube amp.

Buy one and you don't have to look back

By DUC THANH NGUYEN

from Temecula California

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

After trying out several guitar amp stands I decided on this one. Sure, the price is a bit pricier than the competitors but it's definitively sturdier, is well made, and "good looking". The stand is very versatile in that the height and tilt adjustments are easily accomplished, and there are many different height and tilt positions to boot .. in essence, it can be place in almost any angle you would want. This stand also folds easily into a compact form and is fairly light, making it extremely easy to transport. The stand can easily hold an amp weighing 50 lbs ( I am sure it can support more, maybe other reviewers can chime in on this ). The only slight negative would be that I wish the support arms, esp the lower support arms, would have some sort of cushion to protect the stands and the amps that are placed on it. Overall, it's a winner. Pay a little bit more, get a lot more.

Solid as a Rock

By Bruce

from Storrs, CT

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

An excellent product. Very stable. Adjustment knobs (height, angle) have lock-notches, not friction, very smart design, can't slip. Perfect for my very directional small combo amp (32 lbs, 10" speaker)--I wouldn't put anything much bigger than that on it, 60 lbs is probably its real limit. Light, folds up small, compact in use. Puts my amp at a good height (about waist high, I'm 6'3"), tilts to any angle. Wish I'd gotten one years ago, it makes such a difference--I can hear myself now wherever I play, and I don't have to bend over.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I have a Fender Frontman and this fits it perfectly. I really like having my amp up off of the floor. It keeps the dust out of it and also keeps me and others from accidentally kicking it.

Great Product

By Arnold Silva

from Anaheim, CA

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

Now this product was here as promised. I have a Behringer GMX 212 about 50 lbs and supports it just fine. The only thing is they could have used more rubber on the tubing for protection. The stand tilts back in different positions and also has height adjustment. Love it.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I was looking for an adjustable amp stand that folds flat. This stand does both. I did think it would be a little wider. It is sturdy as is but the amp makes it a little top heavy so be careful were you place it on stage.

    Awesome Amp Stand

    By Gary Lee

    from Cairo,GA

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

This is not another looks good, but ain't safe ampstand. I would feel safe putting a 100lb. combo amp on it. "On Stage Stands" over bulit this stand with safety in mind. It is easy to set up and adjust. My 7 year old grandson showed me how to adjust it. He's learning to play bass guitar. I like the fact that the stand can be adjusted from down low to waist high, and all points between. I've been a musician for 48 years and have seen all kinda gadjets, and junk. This is neither. If you're looking for a combo ampstand that is strong and very stable, this is it.

    By Kevin Walker

    from Renton, WA

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I'm so glad I got this. Guitar Center matched a competitor's price and got this for me in less than a week. The stand is very sturdy. I'm using it to support a small combo amp now, but it also works with a 2x12 cabinet that I have. The only things that would make this better for me would be 1) adjustable height and 2) more collapsible for carrying

I am using a fender deville 60 amp with 4 ten inch speakers. Although I like the variety of positions, I caution you to make sure your piece is stable. Very well made, easy to adjust, and helps point the sound right at me

    Solid and Versatile

    By Andrew

    from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I bought this mainly to use at home in my computer room, so that I could get a better idea of what the speaker is doing (it's a small room, so the sound shoots past my shins!), fiddle with the front and back knobs easier, and also clean up my pedals and chords, by sliding them under the stand when not in use. Because I don't take my amp places that much anymore, stowage size is not an issue for me, but it doesn't seem too bad if you have to break it down and travel with it. I think the stability is worth it. I'm happy with the shape and strength of it (I have a widebody 1x12" combo that weighs about 65 lbs). My amp has casters, and they JUST fit, but I decided to put a couple layers of electrical tape on the supports under the rear casters to avoid scratching the stand. I like the many stages of height adjustment, and you can mount the supports frontwards or backwards, and I REALLY like that the supports can be adjusted to sit at any angle, even flat if you desire. This way you can strike a balance between feature accessibility and stability/safety and balance. Overall, a nice piece of kit that I am very happy with. -------------------------- On a side note, I have to say that although I brought up serious concerns with the time that my package was at the shipping facility before it was put on the truck, Guitar Center was very helpful with a brief explanation of the process, and ensured that my package would still cross the border in a reasonable amount of time to end up at my place. My concerns were also addressed very quickly, politely and professionally, and before I knew it the Team Lead had already notified me, that he was issuing a refund for the shipping and handling costs on account of my frustration. Excellent job Guitar Center, and thank you for listening to me and addressing my issues, rather than blowing me off and hoping that I'll "maybe" come back someday... I will DEFINITELY be back to purchase more gear. Great customer service experience.
