Solid, lightweight construction. Versatile and stable as well. I use it to light performances for a one-man production. Easy to transport and sets up quickly. I highly recommend.
This is a great stand, you can load it up with LED lighting till it looks like a Christmas tree. But watch the weight and balance if you are using the old heavy par cans. We had a person add extra lights to my stand and it didn't like the weight shift, and almost had a tumble. Other than that - this is a great stand, love the extra arms so you don't have to use multiple stands and take up valuable stage space. Price was great too for all that it does, and the safety features such as actual pegging to hold the center stand at a particular height, so no surprises like having the lights slowly come down around you!
You can't go wrong with this stand, light-weight, easy to carry to your gigs and super easy to setup. Stand quality is great on it, won't dent easily and tube clamps are very durable. Best Bang For Your Buck!
Day Before a gig, i Needed a small light setup, so i went to my closest guitarcenter, and picked up the small venue party pack lighting thingy along with this truss. I asked if there was anything Cheaper but they had told me this was it, so i had no choice to take it. when i brought it home and opened it, i was very satisfied with the build and quality of this Stand. and it is VERY tall. Too me atleast. im a short Pinoy Dude. it held up the lights very well and didnt look fragile in any place. the plastic parts bug me a bit but i know it whont break too easily. go buy this truss. its awesome. :]
Solid construction, Thick plastic, won't break easily, great extension, really easy to use. This stand is really cool and with circular bars, you can rotate the lower two bars to any angle you want. Finally, if you're aspiring to buy your first stand, don't underestimate how heavy the upper extension bar will be when loaded with all your new cool lights. (I did) I went with this as my first stand, and I'm still an all-american athlete in college, but I had to get someone to help me raise it up the first time. Maybe a crank stand would be a better investment for someone a little older or (no offense) weaker. But if you're strong enough, this is the stand to get- strong and cheap.
This is an absolute must have if you are a mobile DJ especially if you have lights, I use it to hold 2 of my lights and I plan on getting another one with 2 additional lights to cover a room completely! I recently usedd it at a Lipsync show for my school and It towered up about 10 Feet and projected my lights perfectly to the audiance. A MUST HAVE!!!
This light stand is great. It's really easy to build and take apart which is good for traveling. It also gets to a really good height so it will be towering over anyone.
