Overview

The sturdy On-Stage Stands Keyboard X Stand Add On 2nd Tier lets you double your keyboard space without springing for another stand or a more elaborate system. Tilt adjustment helps you put your board right where you want it.

It can be inserted into most X-style keyboard stands with round or square tubing and uses a tightening knob with an internal-tubing mechanism to secure the 2nd tier. A midpoint clutch featuring 2 disks with 36 interlocking teeth allows the user to tilt the second tier to any position without worrying about slippage. The clutch is made with die-cast zinc for added strength.

The unit comes complete with a stabilizer bar that keeps the left and right tier members upright when it is properly assembled between the 2 members. And, because the stabilizer bar telescopes, the width of the entire 2nd tier unit adjusts with your stand.

The KSA7500 fits all On-Stage Stands X-Style Models as well as most name-brand keyboard stands.

Need third keyboard tier.

By Paul

from Spokane, WA>

I have a QUIK LOC Z stand with tilt tubular second tier. I was amazed that this add on would even fit inside of the support tubes of this second tier but it did!!! Allows three keyboards now and looks right on!

Great for the price

By Paul Bye

from Rochester, MN

If you already have an "X" stand and need an add-on second tier this is a nice, easy, low-cost choice. Sturdy and fairly easy to install. One thing that this add-on model lacks is any kind of adjust-ability. Once you install it, it's pretty much fixed in height and the angle of the keyboard (both things that would be nice to have), but for the cost it's probably too much to expect.

Very good stand

By Bradford Hadley

from South Berwick, ME

I like this stand a lot. Sturdy enough for my purposes, an Alesis Q49 and a good price. I have it attached to a ProLine X stand, which some people said might be a problem. No problem at all. The 2nd tier slipped right in and after a few turns of the knob tightened right up. I could use it without the cross-bracing, but it definitely makes it more sturdy.

Really sturdy

By JEAN KEALTY

from Bullhead City, AZ

Easy to assemble and made very sturdy, almost stronger than my stand, but it will make my stand more stable.

Must have!!

By George Gee

from Trotwood, OH

If you are looking for an affordable way to add a second tier for another keyboard, you will not go wrong with this product. Easy to assemble and dis-assemble. Make sure you use a double brace X-stand with this add on. Especially if the 2nd board weighs more than 20 pounds. Otherwise the entire rig will sway.

Great Stand

By JEFF BECK

from Alabama

I bought this stand for my wife. She has a Rhodes and a Yamaha. Both are 88 key keyboards. She plays in a christian paise band and has used it for the past month. It is sturdy and durable. So for no complaints. It has been a great addition to the praise band!

Great Stand!

By M.H.

Great Stand! Very well made. Can be difficult to loosen joints, but I guess that;s what makes it sturdy.

Very nice addition.

By Metalkeys205

from Athol MA

This is a very useful and inexpensive piece of equipment.I have a very small room for my keyboards and was looking for a way to make a little more space and this add on tier fit what i was looking for very well. Another great feature is that as well as giving you a sturdy place to put another keyboard it also gives your stand some extra sturdyness and less "woble". A very nice addition to anyones studio space. .....Rock on.

Good piece of equipment

By lwballard

from New York

The tier is good, solid construction and is easy to assembel. I have the cheapest On-Stage single frame stand and while it is good the tier added to it made it even more sturdy. WARNING: Just be sure to get this model only if you have an On-Stage product to attach it to. Not all tiers work with other brands.

Too Easy!!!

By CB

from Wash, DC

This stand was a cinch to assemble. I was nervous at first, but no problems. It's as easy to set-up as it looks. The stabilizer bar is a good touch for making sure the stand is not leaning on either side too far left/right or front/back of the stand. Buy this attachment before you buy a more expensive double tier stand that may not be worth the money down the road.
