The On-Stage Stands Tripod Mic Stand with Boom is a basic tripod mic stand with 33" fixed boom.
These stands work well for the first few months of having them. They can't handle the normal wear and tear of studio usage. They also, as do all tripod stands fall over easily if adding a heavy microphone to the top of the boom, so be careful. They work though.

This is a high quality mic stand. It is fully adjustable, and very stable. Remember that you must buy the mic clamp seperately, but they are relatively inexpensive. This stand is about as good as they get. great for shows.

I've gone through many mic stands over the years. Most often, they end up becoming stripping or requiring Conan the Barbarian-like strength to adjust. The On-Stage series of stands has been top-notch and held up both in the studio and, well, on stage. Mine's in constant use, and hasn't worn out. Stays in place even with heavier condenser mics. Avoid the chaep stands and spring the few extra bucks for this one--you'll be much happier in the long run, and Arnold won't need to swing by every time you need to lower the mic by a few inches.

it is a good stand but just like another person posted before me it doesn't hold up with normal every day studio usage, from having to move it around the studio to adjusting the height level within 2-months of usage its broke on me... in the middle of my session!.. but hey its not a bad product, just don't touch it! :)

I recently bought this mic stand and it has fit in great! Many ajustments so you can have it at the right height and angle without it being in the way! I've had it for about 4 months now and its still in well working shape.
