  • Nice...but

    Well made except for the threaded knob to adjust boom slide. Threads strip out w/ the slightest pressure rendering the adjustable boom portion useless.

  • A good product, and a good company.

    Are there better mic stands out there? Yes. But, for the price of these boom stands, they are well worth it. No listen, you have to treat them like any other piece of gear and take care of them, but I bring these on hundreds of gigs without issue. Occasionally and rarely, something fails but I always have a few extra on hand. To top it off, On-Stage customer service is excellent. Parts for reparing stands are easily ordered and they respond quickly. My most recent order shipped to me with a broken T-Nut for tightening the boom clutch. Within 15 minutes of opening the box, I emailed, and On-Stage agreed to ship me a replacement part for free with no questions asked. Shipped the next business day.

    This is my 4th pair. I had to replace one out of the six we own. They have a great reach and nice radius. In short, they get the job done nicely as long as you're not one of those lazy people who dont consistently loosen the tension knobs before adjusting.
