These are great stands! It is MUCH easier to crank up speakers than dealing with the pins & clamps and eventual pinched fingers and hurt back muscles! These are almost as light as regular On-Stage stands and seem to be as sturdy. I will never buy regular stands again.
So far I'm very pleased the speaker stands that I've purchased. Raising the speakers with the power crank couldn't make it any easier. I have the Yamaha Club Series speakers and the grooves cut into the insertion poles of the stands make for a custom fit - so that the poles don't get stuck when removing the speakers.
I have recently purchased a pair and have had the opportunity to use them on one occasion. I was very impressed with the operation of the lift. Not lifting the speakers manually up really made the set up 100% easier. The only draw back is the male end receptical gear for the socket for using the drill is a bit fragile and the teeth wear down easy. If your careful and use a socket it should not be a problem, again they were well worth the investiment.
