Good value, but not premium gear

I picked up a new pair of these On-stage stands 2 years ago. Just this month the turn knob's plastic sleeve snapped while I was setting up a speaker by myself, which was unwise of myself. I sprang my wrist as a result. Just remember the plastic knob is only meant to keep the pole from rotating, not to support the weight. The pin is what supports the weight.

Sturdy Stand!

We use 2 of these On-Stage stands for our band. These stands are really well made, and sturdy! I really like the large adjustment knobs, easy on the hands. And they're lightweight. They've never slipped, and the wide base is adjustable and very stable, even with heavy speakers. I like the black color also. Very nice stands!
