I use this little trick with a piece of velcro to hold the Bose remote control (greatest sound system ever made)on the center mic stand on stage.It is sturdy, easy to install and you could use it for what it was intended and actually put a mic on it for an instrument. Well worth the money and well built.
I mean...i dont think words can express how well the my550 mic extension attachment bar works in a live situation. many a time I find myself in a tight spot on stage, sweat pouring down my face...nervous...yet excited.
