The On-Stage Stands Clothespin Microphone Clip is a great universal mic clip that allows you to place any microphone on a stand from the Really wide to the thinist of microphones. No need for purchasing custom made mic clips to hold the mics. Lasts a long time but it is possible to break
If you are using this on stage you are risking the mic falling to the floor. It is very easy to knock your favorite mic out of this clip and have it hit the floor. I have seen it many times. Also I have had many of these where one half of the clip breaks off and the same result---BAM! Do your self a favor and buy the correct mic clip "U" shape and keep one of these just for emergencies.
Amazing! I was just watching Diana Krall's "Live In Paris" DVD on my computer and suddenly became aware she is singing into what looks like a Nuemann KMS-104 mic that is in a clip just like this one. I'm hoping it was the more expensive of this type. Not that I would recommend it. I recommend the sold type - if it fits. I'm always having the springs pop out of these when traveling.
