Comments about Olympus LS-14 Linear PCM Recorder:
the ls 14 is not a bad recorder. its easy to use, very easy. great for song writing ideas, and its easy to use as a usb drive to move your ideas to a computer. one thing this takes full size sd/sdhc cards not a micro as the description claims. i found the larger sd card size is more practical anyways. so dont buy micro sd cards for this recorder! the mics on hi gain get a little over powered at times, but if you place it right you should be fine. lots of features and like i said the recorder stands up there in my opinion, with all the big brand recorder companies out there. i have owned many and it was a nice switch to try something new. i have only had it for a day, but have messed with every feature it has and it is fine for the right reasons. a nice touch is the 3 mic tresmic system, better all around recording for guitar and voice. thanks guitar center!
