You get what you pay for... Cons: This coffin seemed like the perfect choice until I loaded my Technics 1200s into it. It seems as if the coffin was going to fall apart from the weight of the turntables. Pros: There's plenty of room to make modifications to this case. Mine is currently holding the two turntables, a 12 inch mixer, and my Kontrol X1. (It's a tight squeeze with the X1 but it works) After my modifications and a few extra screws, this case is perfect! Is it worth the money??? Yes!!!
This Odyssey ECBM coffin was easily the best purchase I?ve made in a long time. It?s perfect for the DJ who?s always the one bringing his decks for the party. The size of the coffin is a great size to fit easily almost anywhere the party goes. Its easy latches and stacking ability is great for opening and adjusting height and the foam cushions on top make sure your decks aren?t going anywhere anytime soon. The coffin is made to fit any tables ?battle style? and fits a 10? mixer like a dream, when room to spare on the sides. It fits my Numark TTX?s perfectly and allows me to have some room for my cleaning material and my Beringer VMX-300 is a perfect fit. The lightweight, yet strong frame makes for easy carrying and can fit into almost any car (from my experience). It can take a beating like no other. I have dropped it down stairs and it was unscathed and it was a wonder to have it for when I moved from Nevada to Arizona. Easily, again, the best purchase I?ve made in a long time.
I truly was happy when i got this case. The only problem was that it was not measured correctly. It says it has 10 inches of mixer space when it only has 9. I bought a mixer that was 9 1/2 inches and it would not fit. Cool space for the turntables, but be sure to measure your mixer beforehand cause there is only 9 inches of space in this coffin.
