A lot of young musicians start on the recorder. From the recorder, the next step is usually either the clarinet or the flute. The TooT is designed for the child ready to progress from the recorder to ultimately playing the flute. It will develop a young musician's embouchure, sense of pitch, concept of phrasing and melody, as well as organize their thinking around the mathematical patterns that make music make sense. It is available in three different finishes, white/blue, white/green, white/pink.

The set includes the NUVO firstnote lip plate which helps students to learn proper posture, and assists in fingering and playing.
