Crossfader dies

By Jeff Bye

from Hollywood

Comments about Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer:

I should have listened to the previous posts. The crossfader wears and dies out on you very quickly unless you're a slow and careful trance DJ. Any sort of rough play with this mixer and it will give out within a few days. The kill switches are nice but I honestly haven't found that many uses for it. It would be an awesome mixer for the price if the crossfader didn't blow. Don't buy.

a pretty sweet deal

By DJ REIGN SUPREME

Comments about Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer:

I've been djing for over 10 years and i have worked with hundreds of mixers...and to be honest for a $100 this is a steal. I've had it for a year to practice with and the performance is awesome. As for the fader, yes it can bleed at times, however with tuner spray it works fine. If you want a good practice mixer for battling and doing mixtapes..this is a good save and practical item for any DJ!

A The Great

By A THE GREAT

from Greensboro, NC

Comments about Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer:

I am a DJ that loves to scratch and save money. (Bad combo). If you like to scratch do not even waist your time with this mixer. The cross fader goes goes out in a week if you scratch with it everyday. Good for, what I like to call, a "Stereo DJ" (a Dj that just plays the music, with nothing extra). Good for mixing but like I said the cross fader sucks.

Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer

By Redspinz

from Olympia, Washington

Comments about Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer:

It's greta for beginners who are just learning the basics of scratching. Perfect for mobile DJs who don't scratch. BUT for the tablist who are battling , beat juggling, etc...it's get really frustrating. The fader will work perfect for the first month then after that you have to oil it everytime you use it, which is not worth it. You are better off saving up and getting what the real tablists are using these days.

Pretty good for mixing.

By Young Scene

from Strongsville, OH

Comments about Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer:

I myself bought this about 3 months ago and I still am pretty happy with it. I have used it for mobile DJing doing car shows, graduation parties and also a couple small concerts. The only downside of this mixer is the fader doesnt seem to be replaceable, sometimes static is present when fading in songs but that wont really be much of a problem if you are playing your music really loud. The "cut" option is really great for people who scratch I think and overall it is a great mixer to start out with. I really like the 3 kill switches for the EQ.
