I've been using this mixer for about 2 months. This mixer as compact but very effective. The fader blends with sheer precision. The effects are awsome and the push button kills are even better. Only downside is there are led lights by the crossfader that jar your vison while your using dj programs like serato or virtual dj. For the price and quality I stand by this product.
I ordered this mixer, and after having it for 4 months, the RCA jacks went bad, and the Volume control went bad. Numark sent me an RA#, but had a laundry list of necessities for me to do before I could get it fixed, including me paying $35 to double box, and ship it to them with insurance. I could not find the original sales receipt in the 30 day period when the RA# was valid, and then had already expired.
Later on, I found the receipt, and "Luckily" I had bought the extended warranty. So, I paid the money to ship it to Numark, and Guitar Center sent me back a check for "retail" price only. They didn't take into consideration that I had spent money for Guitar Center to ship it to me originally, didn't pay me back the tax, and didn't refund the money I spent shipping it to Numark. So, Basically, I have to pay for shipping on a new mixer, pay for a new extended warranty for that mixer, and repay the tax again. Both companies basically are washing their hands of it, and have left me to suck up all of those costs, which total in the neighborhood of $100-$150 extra... maybe more... haven't totalled the shipping on the new warranty or mixer with shipping yet.
So, at the end of the day, I paid at least a hundred dollars for the pleasure of buying a defective, and un-repairable mixer that malfunctioned in 4 months, and am left without a mixer again after spending all that money. I won't even get into the HOURS I spent on hold LONG DISTANCE to Numark, where they kept hanging up on me, or transferring me to voicemails that were FULL.. or the fact that I had to mediate between both companies for over a week, as Numark kept saying it was "not covered... talk to Guitar Center" when it WAS covered the whole time! Very poor customer service, and very poor equipment. I have shopped at Guitar Center a lot over my 35 years, but never will I again, nor will I purchase a Numark product. DO NOT BUY THIS, or any other Numark mixer!
