Control your favorite DJ software with traditional DJ hardware.
A tabletop MIDI controller for DJs who yearn for the control they left behind when they switched from traditional mixers to the multi processing power of laptop DJing. This fully class compliant USB MIDI interface is the ultimate for any performing computer DJ.
Total Control's 31 buttons, 20 knobs and 5 faders send MIDI data from the controller to your DJ software of choice, making the inconvenience of mouse or glide pad software control a thing of the past.
When using the total control with our Cue, Cue LE, Traktor LE or Virtual Vinyl software, no assignment of software parameters for the Total Control is necessary simply connect the controller to a computer with a USB cable, start the software, and enable it. All of the controls have been mapped for your convenience.
The Total Control comes packaged with Numark's Cue LE and Native Instruments' Traktor LE software, with pre mapped controls and overlay "skins" for both applications.

Great Product For Little Money
I picked this unit up and am completely satisfied with it. The Numark Cue software and the Total Control work seamlessly together making mixing incredibly easy. I would recommend this unit to anyone with at least a 2 gig processor on pc or mac with a minimum of 1 gb of ram. Also buy the Numark DJiO soundcard box that will plug into your computer giving you monitoring and RCA outputs to your soundsystem. Once you get a great pc or mac, the Total Control set up with Cue (or Traktor) software, the DJiO external sound card box, you'll be mixing in no time. I like how Cue software overlays the left and right tracks together so you can beat match with ease. I paid about $350 if you include the Total Control and the DJiO. Try it out, its a killer product.

A Good Product For The Price
First off I would like to say that this is a great product for the price. Everything works as advertised, and is well worth it. The only problem is that the Cue LE software that is included is not nearly as good as the full version. So if you think this is all you need, you might want to think again. However, you do get a $100 decrease on the regular price of Cue when you buy this. Also make sure your system is good enough, I wouldn't recommend anything under a 2.0gHz Core 2 Duo and 2 gigs of RAM. Also this is not a sound card, it is just a controller, so you might want to invest in a good sound card if you don't have one.

Great value for mobile dj
Works great for mobile DJ gigs. The level of control is not as tight as with real hardware, tempo control in particular. This is not an issue if you are using the auto sync feature, but forget manually matching bpms with the faders. I was a little worried about the plastic construction, but it feels nice and solid. Definitly a tool, not a toy. I really like accessing my napster account through Cue 5, recommend upgrading from the included software, though it is quite functional. Numark's dj/io or similar 4 channel sound card product is needed as well.
