The Numark TTUSB Belt-Drive Turntable with USB Audio Interface makes it super easy to digitize your record collection with plug-and-play compatibility with USB-equipped PCs and Macs. It includes everything you need to get music on your computer and clean it up. The Numark TTUSB turntable features an adjustable anti-skating control for increased stereo balance, support for 33-1/3 and 45rpm playback speeds, ±10% adjustable pitch control, and a 1/8" stereo mini jack input connector to make transferring cassette tapes easy. The Numark turntable comes complete with Audacity software, a head shell with pre-mounted cartridge, and all the necessary cables to connect with your computer and stereo playback system. Audacity lets you record at a high speed and return your music to the original playback speed; clean up the sound by removing clicks, pops, and other noise; and export to WAV and MP3.

The Numark turntable also includes EZ Vinyl Converter 2 (PC) and EZ Audio Converter (MAC) two of the simplest ways to record and convert vinyl directly to iTunes or your iPod. EZ Vinyl Converter 2 features Gracenote MusicID technology which analyzes your vinyl and automatically retrieves album, artist, and song information for you. EZ Audio Converter lets you easily enter track information. On Mac or PC, you can now digitally archive your collection to CD or MP3 in just a few mouse clicks.

A simple and Easy Way to convert of LP's to CD's

This turntable is great if you're just converting old LP's into CD's or if you just want to play records with it. It comes with everything you need including a cartridge and a adapter for 45's. The software that comes with it (Audacity) is excellent for editing you're recordings. If you're also converting cassette tapes too you can use the mini amp inside of the turntable. This turntable is performs as it was created to do so.

Excellent find!

The Numark TTUSB is a godsend for me! I've been wanting to transfer my jazz vinyl collection to CD's for years & searched for a viable solution other than having to find a quality phono preamp & dig out my turntable & other audio gear (limited living space here). It works as described & works well. The supplied phono cartridge is of average quality but obviously you can install another. The included Audacity software works well too and has a feature to record LP's at 45 speed & bring it down to 33 1/3 which saves a good amount of time with many LP's. It also can separate individual tracks & save those files for CD burning. I use Adobe Audition with plugins for cleaning up pops, clicks & crackles.

LP Converting to Cd

I just recently bought the Numark turntable and have recorded several of my very old 33 LPs and now enjoy listening to them on CDs. Two things I feel need to be improved on first there needs to be a more description site to describe all the features of the Software that comes with the turntable in order to take advantage of all the bells and whistles. The turntable though works great. Try it you will find it easy to convert those LPs to CDs.

Didn't care for the iTunes software

We got one of these for my dad for Christmas last year. I tried it out with some LPs they have that I wanted copies of to convert to CD. The turntable and Audacity did an excellent job. iTunes seems to automate some of the tasks better, but it also bogged their computer down by a considerable margin (they have Windows XP and 192 MB of RAM on their computer -- your mileage may vary), so I recommended they remove it and use Audacity instead, and I showed them how to use Audacity, too. I've used Audacity quite a few times, and it's a great little audio recording program, although it can involve a bit of trial and error to get it recording just perfectly, and it takes some know-how at getting rid of pops and clicks and hiss and whatnot, but once you master that, it's an excellent program, and I use it on my Linux box (I'm running Linux Mint, BTW). Unfortunately, my dad doesn't really have the time to mess with it all that much. But for anyone who wants to digitize their LP or 45 collection, this is what I recommend right here, and I'm gonna ask my wife to get me one for Christmas this year, too.

GREAT WITH FL STUDIO !

I produce Hip Hop and one of my passions and admiration has been sampling records from all over the place. However, I would have to take LPs to a friends house to have them converted to mp3 two be used in FL Studio. My problems were solved with the discovery of the Numark TTUSB. The turntable is a wonderful addition to my setup which is comprised of FL Studio 8 ran on an HP Tablet for sequencing, and controlled by an Oxygen 49. I really appreciated the ease of use this turntable offered because the for a great price you get the ability to input audio USB into the Edison mixer function in FL. In FL studio you have record the turntables audio USB output in Edison and do what ever your heart desires with it in FL. The TTUSB features the standard comforts and setup as the other turntables of the TT family. One of the best thing about the USB audio output is the value it offers. Think of it this way: if your a producer who just wants to sample records and you are using computer based sequencing or programs you can bypass having to by a midi interface that can run you into the 2 and three hundreds of dollars which is not worth the money unless you plan on it any way. I recommend this for anyone who wishes to use the turntable with any computer based music software especially FL studio.
