DON'T BUY whatever the situation is DON'T BUY

I've had my CDX's for about a year and I've had to replace the laser/transport twice on one of the tabels and three times on the other. I hate these tables b/c they would be great if they worked. I've talked with seven other owners and all agree. I feel so passionately about this that I feel the need to write this. Don't listen to anyone else's comments, DON'T BUY THE CDX's unless you want to spend another 1000 dollars trying to fix and refix and refix them forever. DONT DO IT PLEASE.

been rockin since i got em

So far so good no problems, only that it wont read cheap cds all the time, get a good brand of cds if you want to keep on rockin. So far no problems with them at all. I do suggest djs who want to start up with the real feel of vinyl should grab a pair or just one. You will be begging to get another. I love my pair and i have been on Techinic 1200s for over 25 years and this is the only thing that comes close. Big ups to NUMARK for keeping the cutting edge alive.

Numark CDX - A Great Choice

I dj and make mixtapes as well. I switched from vinyl to CD decks about a year or so ago. I have been using the Numark CDXs and couldn't be happier. I love the feel. It's alot easier to scratch than some decks, especially with the 12" platter. It feels just like scratching vinyl. I would definitely recommend these decks. It's packed full of effects as well. It's a perfect solution for those who would like to be able to mix their digital music. It also makes it easier to use newer songs in the club as well as use your own beats, breaks and remixes.

The best out there... Hands down.

I got one of these for x-mas last year and I use it in my band, orin. It's great for being able to scratch my own samples. As for how it works and sounds - perfect vinyl emulation. PERFECT. You can do any turntable trick at all - accept for needle drops obviously. If your a turntablist ready to go digital, it really dosn't get better than this. I only have a few qualms with the device. For starters - it's really really heavy. I think it weighs in around 20lbs, then chuck in a road case it's it's mega heavy. Another problem is the spindle. It's very weak, and mine busted off fairly easily. Another thing that bugged me is the effects - there is no way to make them post-fader. Not very useable in turntablism settings - ok for mixing though. Also the beatfinding and beat sync really are terrible. All in all I love it and I want another one bad.
