Perfect for starting DJ's
The Numark CD Mix-2 was my first cd player/mixer starting out as a DJ. It is the perfect mixer to learn on because it is very "user friendly" and easy to use. Also, the price is unbeatable. This product is very durable. I have had it for 2-3 years now and the only problem I have had with it is the headphone jack is starting to go out on me. I definatly recommend this product for DJ's who are starting out, not only because it's very easy to use but also very inexpensive for those who aren't yet sure if DJ'ing is for them.

Owner of Moble D.J. Co.
This unit is very easy to use, fast to set up. I use it for a second sound system for weddings only. I have used it for about 5 years-500 weddings. I do not use it for gigs. The only thing I really hate about this unit is that the mics are both 1/4 plug not bal. XLR and it is the pits to mount in a case, table mount only. I payed alot more then this, I will buy more at this price. Great for what it is, Not ment to be your main system.

Numark CD MIX 2
A great deck even for a pro. I used a Numark CD MIX 2 at Club One here in Dallas over the club Denon's. If you like a deck that does NOT EMUALTE vinyl then this is the deck for you. It has a wireless mike input - so it is great for Weddings, pool parties and warehouse parties. It also has two line/phono inputs. So you can have your CD cake and vinyl too.

Compact Practical Problematic
I purchased the unit for a cruise event that we have every year to an exotic port and needed something portable to plug in to the onboard system and at the recomendation of Steve B. at your Country Club Hills location purchased the unit for a great price.
It was so compact and functional that I continued to use it replacing my then primary rig with this unit with great results for a period of time.
Then it happened - I started getting intermitent distortion from my left channel that continued to get worse and more frequent, worse and more frequent and had the unit cleaned.
That seemed to solve the problem for about a week and then it returned and finally the deck A completely malfunctioned.
Despite this I plan to have the unit repaired and plan to buy another one today.
I do a ton of gigs (100+ per year) make good money and realize that as much as I use it that things are bound to happen.
I make - I spend to maintain.
I like the mixing abilities, sound quality and the portability of this unit so much I guess with the Guitar Center price it's still a great value.
My whole kick - butt rig is the Newmark w/2 JBL Eons ( also from Guitar Center) with a 5 min. set up time!
