The C3USB DJ mixer with USB was created out of necessity. C3USB has two USB ports, each assignable as an input or output. As inputs, incoming audio can be mixed like any other input. As outputs, you can send your mix out to a connected computer for recording. I've had a Numatk M2 for a while that I've been gigging with for 2 yrs and no troubles at all. I bought this unit last weekend, plugged it in, changed a couple of small settings in my Virtual DJ and "Presto!" I was mixing the sound from Virtual DJ in 2 of the channels. I still had 3 left for all my other stuff (2 cd players and a dvd player). 5 items and no switches to flip. The sound quality was awesome. It's definetly worth every dollar.
It was easy to set up, the sound was great, and it's full of very usefull features and no gimmicky stuff.
My really old Gemini mixer had seen its last days and was time to be replaced, but I had a gig in 2 days and needed a mixer that could handle everything I needed it to do and also be fairly simple to learn to navigate within 48 hours before the start of the wedding reception. Well I didn't have to read the manual. Everything was lined up perfectly and I was able to put on quite a performance at the reception. The music loud, the mixer was smooth and the reception dance floor was full. Thanks Numark!
