Audiohub 2x4 is a combined audio interface and USB hub for electronic music production with Focusrite sound quality. It lets you connect and power all your USB gear at once, while getting ultra-low latency audio and super loud output.
Declutter Your Setup
It can take a lot of gear to make a great tune. That's why the Audiohub 2x4 integrates three USB 2.0 ports, so you can connect your keyboard controller, NI Maschine, Novation Launchpad or any other USB gear to your computer at the same time. You can even connect it all to your iPad, if you have a camera connection kit.
You can bus-power Audiohub 2x4, but you'll need to connect the power supply if you want to use it to bus-power your USB gear as well. Still, better to carry around one power supply than four, right?
Focusrite Sound Inside
This isn't just a USB hub; it's a powerful audio interface too. Novation partnered with Focusrite, who make the best sounding audio interfaces in the world, to make sure Audiohub 2x4 gives you extraordinary quality 96 kHz, 24-bit audio performance. This allows you to sample and capture pristine quality audio and listen back with zero latency at the click of a button.
It's Super Loud
Live music needs to be loud and no performer appreciates quiet headphones. Novation made sure every output is blisteringly loud: the four RCAs, the two balanced jacks and the headphone outputs. Everything is super loud.
Capture Balanced Audio
Premium matched stereo RCA inputs mean you can capture pristine stereo sound and synth recordings, at perfectly matched levels.
Ultra-Low Latency for Live Performance
The ultra-low latency performance is essential for playing out live using input signals, such as synths. Of course, you can always hit a button for direct, latency-free monitoring.

Comments about Novation Audiohub 2x4:
This is a great audio interface for anyone who is looking to step into the electronic music production scene. The sound quality is great both in and out thanks to it's Focusrite interior (great in the studio). Latency is close to none (great on the stage) so every little puss of a button occurs right then and now. In addition to that, all of it's outputs are utterly loud! The headphone output is just astonishingly loud. It is all encased in a rugged black aluminum chassis which give the interface a solid feel that most others lack. But the feature that stands out most on this interface are the 3 USB ports that are located on that front of the interface. This really helps when trying to remove clutter from your workstation. In my case, I am almost always using a laptop for my work, And this laptop happens to have just 2 USB ports and I normally use 4 or 5 MiDi controllers. Yes, USB hubs are an option but if your equipment consists of power-hungry keyboards with a couple launchpads, there will be some problems with power distribution within the hub. The audio hub however, is powered by either USB BUS power when used as an interface, or by a 12 volt AC connector (which is included) when used as both an audio interface and a USB hub. Yes, you have to plug it in if you will be using MiDi controllers but 1 power supply is better than having to carry around 5. However, there are some setbacks. The inputs for this interface are RCA connections. This will give you a bit of trouble if you are trying to connect high end microphones which use XLR plugs or if you are trying to plug in guitars or other string instruments which normally use 1/4 inch plugs. There are adaptors but as we all know, the more connections that there are between the device and the interface, the more the sound quality deteriorates. Not by much but it does make the slightest difference. My final thoughts on this interface are that it is built on a very solid platform, it gives a feel of quality and precision when you turn the knobs and it's combined Focusrite interior and USB ports give it exceptional value. All the outputs are blisteringly loud but also incredibly precise. For synthetic sounds and artificial sound production, it is an outstanding unit. For acoustics and recordings, it is a good interface. This is a product that doesn't disappoint. C.M.
