The Nomad Fiber Multifit Snare Drum Case has adjustable depth from 5"-8" and a 14" diameter.

Nomad drums are fabricated from lightweight, durable fiberboard with water absorption inhibitors. Reinforced with protective metal hardware, all attractively chromeplated. Contoured injection-molded handles. All handle mounts are double reinforced. One-piece, wearproof strap design, secured with a nonslip toothless buckle. All drum cases are a Multifit design with an extra-deep lid that permits each case to accommodate drums of different heights, so if you change a drum, you don't have to buy a new case.

    The straps that hold togther the two ends, are not secure at all... so it makes the handle useles, because if u carry it by that, the weight of the snare will eventually shift and force the endings off. Unless maybe you have a lighter snare. Mine is pretty heavy. This is NOT recomended for traveling, maybe storage... Just save your money for something better. Nomad is pretty weak stuff.

  • Nice case

    The case is very functional. As far as the belt that holds the two halves together, once you adjust the straps you simply tie off the excess strap and it will stay securing the two halves of the case. Very simple. You do however, have to use some sort of padding. This can purchased at any craft store for very cheap. Altogether, a good purchase. Serves the purpose.

    I purchased this item on sale for a great price. It is a well made case, but does need some padding installed. This is minor and can be purchased at a craft store for cheap. Whatever problems the other reviewer had with the strap, I've not had any yet. After adjusting the strap to the desired tightness I tied off the remaining left over straping so no possible slippage could occur. No problems. It's a nice solid case, great for travel and protection.
