I have several Native Instrument pieces (hardware and software) already, so I knew what I was getting myself into... a very compact, solid, reliable device - and that's exactly what I got! Very simple to use: Plug a USB cord into the device and your computer Plug a 1/4" cable into one or both channels and into your mixer/amplifier/powered speakers Go into your computers audio output settings and choose "Traktor Audio 2" (device drivers may be required if you don't already own/use other NI products) ...and that's it! From there, you can use the volume control dials for channel A/B to adjust the output level The one thing I wish I was able to do with this device would be to use both channels when NOT using a piece of Native Instruments software. I'll explain... I use Traktor Pro 2 without my S4 sometimes, because it's too large and bulky to be lugging around everywhere. This device works perfectly when using with Traktor Pro (you still have to go into Traktor's settings, output, and select the Traktor Audio 2 as your output source (Channel A/B mono/stereo... whatever you wish). I output in Mono in both channel A and B and send one channel to my powered speakers and the other to my powered sub - this gives me control of the bass without the need for a mixer/EQ... I just turn the level for either channel A or B to make adjustments and it works great! Another option is to, of course, output everything in Stereo and use one channel for the main mix and the other as your monitor and use headphones to preview your next track. This also works great. However, when I want to simply use iTunes (or any other audio/video app), channel A is the only active channel. Without having software like Traktor Pro to control the output source more specifically, you're only going to get one stereo output to channel A - rendering channel B useless. So, my advice? If you intend on using this device along with Traktor Pro or another piece of software that will allow you to specify each individual channel, or if you have another 3rd party app or software that will allow you greater flexibility in choosing the available channels (and maybe even stereo/mono output types)... go for it! But if you're looking for this control/flexibility in the device itself (or in it's device driver software), you may want to do some research before clicking the "Add to cart" button - this may not have all the bells and whistles you're looking for. Over all, this is a great product for the size and price - and, let's not forget, a piece of software, Traktor Pro, is included! So you're getting an outstanding deal on some great hardware and software!

It is a great audio device ,portable .I suggest users to stick a piece of velcro and attach it to the side of your mixer or something to keep it in place when you use headphones because it is so lite ,it was hard to make it work with usb 3.0 in my new computer ,but after a little research i fixed that issue .
