Been spinning for about 20 years now. I still have my original pair of 1200s! I was reluctant to start spinning CDs. Bought a pair Pioneer CDJ 800 MK2s and fell in love with being able to spin MP3s. I thought I was high tech! I have so much music collected over the years that at gigs I would kick myself for not bringing certain records or CDs with me. I started with Traktor Audio 2 and was hooked on Traktor. But I still wanted to spin records and CDs. I bought Scratch Pro 2 and I kick myself for waiting so long. It was so easy to set up to my MacBook Pro. I just plugged in the USB and it pretty much did everything for me. The Audio 10 interface is easy to set up. Drop a needle on your time coded vinyl and BAM. It's that easy. I have been using Scratch with my CDJs when I go to gigs and its' a portable system. And the built in recorder eliminates the need for an external recorder. It even records your sets in WAV format. I just added X1 and even better. Why did I wait so long?
