I LUV IT!!
I originally went in to G.C to purchase Serato but was the sales assoc. talked to me about Traktor....i was nervous but did some research and bought it. Its been a month and I'm blown away by it...I love the fact that there is no delay when i scratch...maybe alil but the ear cant catch it....you just need a good computer to run it smoothly...I thought it was a bit too pricey but I am totally satisfied w/it...its great if you love the feel of vinyl because you can play off your laptop and then switch to phono and play your regular vinyl...I definitely recommend it!

Ka-ching!
Well I've been a long-time vinyl purist and have been playing around with Serato at my friend's house and gotten pretty familiar with it. I've been using NI's production software for a long time so I thought I'd try Traktor Scratch out. I can only say that for purists like myself Traktor Scratch is the ONLY product that will make you switch! The scratching and cueing is spot on, even when you wind down the record the signal does not break up (I tried this with Serato, no luck). Not only that, you have an XLR mic pre so I can use my handheld condenser for REAL vocal performances. Spot on NI. Keep up the good work!

Clicks and skips
I bought another notebook just to run this and it clicks and skips. It's horrible. I've called Technical support over and over. I want a refund!! I want to go to Serato. The Audio 8 DJ might be some good still. Traktor Scratch eats up A LOT of processor speed. Crappy program design. Native Instruments said it's because of Windows. I could have saved the trouble and gone out and got an IBOOK!
