This Nady U-81 OCTAVO wireless system is a professional 8-channel UHF wireless system which offers clear, natural-sounding wireless, providing you with 8 UB-81 bodypack transmitters with lavalier microphones. The Nady U-81 OCTAVO delivers eight discrete channels on selected frequency bands 902-928MHz and 944-952MHz for interference-free performance in any application or locale. The wireless mic system also features Nady's proprietary companding and low noise circuit for an industry best 120dB dynamic range.
Nady UH-81 Handheld Transmitter
The Nady DM-50D neodymium cartridge in each UH-81 Handheld Transmitter helps them deliver transparent vocals, maximum feedback rejection, and minimal handling noise. They also have an On/Standby/Off switch for convenient audio muting, a status/low battery LED indicator, and are made of rugged ABS and rubber-coated housing with integral antennas.
UB-81 Bodypack Transmitters
The UB-81 bodypack transmitter is lightweight yet made of a rugged ABS housing. Each comes with a lavalier microphone operation with an integral antenna, and a locking 3.5mm mini-jack which provides secure connection for the mic or an instrument cable if you so choose. Other features on the wireless system include convenient input volume control for proper level adjustment, or instrument operation without input level control, an Off/Standby/On switch for audio muting while the transmitter is on, and a status/low-battery level LED indicator. Each UB-81 runs on a single 9V alkaline or NiMH battery.
