Great value with a great sound

By ADAM

from Salem, Ohio

I own my own Sound company and I have several of these lying around. I own several high end Blue Mics, Several Sennhiesers and a couple AKG's, but every vocalist i work with seem to favor this one. I find it quite odd because it is the cheapest mic I own. I do have to admit that it sounds decent and get good results with it, it's just odd that everyone favors these over 1-200 dollar mics with better sound quality. Either way they work wonderful as a instrument mic too, infact that is one of the more important reasons i keep them around. they have a tighter pattern than sm57's or encore 100i's so in very noisy or windy applications they are amazing. If your thinking of getting any, DO IT. they are very afordable and do the job extremely well. Also, these things take a beating better than any other mic I have used. I have one that has been dropped in the snow, a mud puddle and even ran over with a box truck and still works after 6 more years of road abuse... I don't know another mic that would still be working after all that. 2 thumbs up.

Talk Box

By Kenneth Loseman

from St. Louis, MO

As a guitarist, I use this mic specifically for my Talk Box. I didn't want to spend a lot of cash just for using my Talk Box and this mic works as well as my Shure SM57 for that application. The signal is loud a clear through the PA.

Starters!

By Dennis Walsh

from Port St. Lucie, FL

I started out with this mic when I was younger. To learn how to sing with a band, this is a perfect mic to start with! Its just a standard mic, nothing special about it BUT for starters though, I would recommend it because its so easy on money! Give it a try! Move up in quality when the band improves!
