Comments about Nady MST-7G Microphone Stand with Tripod Base Gooseneck:

The gooseneck isn't very strong. I plan on using this for recording and my microphone (MXL 990) is too heavy for the gooseneck. Definately go for a stand with a boom

Just got this stand and it seems like it's pretty sturdy for the most part. It's mostly metal which is good.

Not terribly expensive but it's not like it's a very special stand either.
