Being battery operated is a bonus. Drawback is that it doesn't take the normal 9 volt connector

Could not locate a p.s. on GC site. Had to go on the internet. Boss pigtail for multi power did not fit even though they are all 9v. Did not want to ding a good product hence the 5*'s. Wish manufacturer's would get together on the power supply thing. Don't think they are being proprietory, I would imagine the amperage denotes the type of jack.

We wanted to use two drum machines with Church in that one was full of songs. Works perfectly to allow 4 channels on each machine to only use one channel on board with separate volume controls for each drum sounds

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

Just a dandy little mixer for a single small gig performer. It allows me to hook up my guitar (up to three) and my vocal mike to my small amp. I appreciate that the power supply is separate from the mixer and that you can use a 9v battery. Most folk aren't aware that power supply noise in inexpensive mixers can be a major problem. Hope I can make some money with it. DOC

        Nice for the price

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I bought this so I could run a percussive stomp box, a guitar and a harmonica mic through the same amp. This set up is mainly for just jamming around and wouldn't be something you would probably want to do at any kind of gig, but it works great for my purposes. For the price it does exactly what I wanted it to do. My only complaint is that I'm not able to get my normal 9V power supplies to work with this for some reason.

Just spend a little more money

        By Josh Scott

        from Greensboro NC

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I bought this mixer simply to run a stage monitor in and in-ears out, and based on some of the reviews this was a good product to do that. I liked that it was small and easily portable and even battery operated, except the thing never worked at all. The first 9v battery I put in heated up before I ever turned the thing on, almost to the point where I could not touch it. The second battery did the same thing. I don't know if that fried the mixer or if the mixer was shorted out in manufacturing and it was frying the batteries. Once I got to practice and put in a 3rd battery (which miraculously didn't burn up) I got no signal out of anything. All 3 batteries were new. The power light came on as well. Also, what I got in the box was nothing like what is pictured above. The power switch was integrated with the master volume and the battery insert was on the bottom (and a real pain to get open). I think I'll just spend a little bit more for something that I know will work properly and not have the potential to set my house on fire with hot batteries.

Pretty darn good for the money

        By Brian

        from Sturbridge, MA

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

My church has had this little mixer for around 2 or 3 years so far. It has worked great the whole time. We use it to add more channels to our main mixer or it is used for a headphone monitor for our drummer. The other, I use to practice stuff on my bass in quite. I plug headphones into output, My bass and other items such as CD and MP3 players or guitars go into the inputs. It took some creative thinking to get cables from an MP3 to 1/4" but it sounds pretty good. It is loud enough to get heard in the headphones but it does not have a lot of gain. I tend to use a compression pedal on my bass and it boosts it to a level that I can control better. CD and MP3 players are fine in it. I do notice a substancial hum when using it with 9v batteries. I use a power adaptor instead and it has absolutely no buzz at all.
