Comments about Nady AxeHead Mini Headphone Guitar Amp:

I purchased this device because I am learning to play the bass and I didn't want to bother my neighbors with my noise. It works well enough to listen with the volume up, but once I mess with the other control knobs, the sounds is terribly distorted and inconsistent. For the price of this device I would recommend an iRig or any of the many other options out there as this device will not interact with any tuning or music apps.

Comments about Nady AxeHead Mini Headphone Guitar Amp:

First off, I ordered 2-day express shippin to receive it before I left for holidays, and it didn't make it on time. So it sat on my doorstep for the duration of the Christmas holidays. Ok, that wasn't the fault of Guitar Center, but UPS had some breakdown.
Then, when I plugged it in, it was super noisy, no clean sound, everything just one hum and poor distortion. I was hoping for a clean amplified sound but could not find any setting that would deliver it.
Then when I unplugged it, the entire plug assembly disintegrated and I wasn't able to put it back together. The concept is good, but it is poorly and weakly constructed, and sound quality is poor at best.

Great sound but will only work on some guitars

      By Marco Muiretta

Comments about Nady AxeHead Mini Headphone Guitar Amp:

I love the sound and the fact that you recharge it via usb port but it will only work on Gibson and Fender style jacks. Even then on SG's the neck tone knob gets in the way. On Ibanez S series the plug simply won't go into the in-put on the guitar. Other than this its a great idea as compared to the Vox AMPLUG to where its as if your stuck with only one tone and then have to buy separate versions for differing types of playing

Greatt for busting a lick without having to hook up the amp!

      By Britney Summers

      from Los Angeles

Comments about Nady AxeHead Mini Headphone Guitar Amp:

It was between this and the Vox, and I'm pretty happy I went with the Axehead. It sounds great, both clean and full distortion. This was by far the economical choice, and for a practice amp I couldn't find anything better for this price!
