Bought microphone for a back-up for my DJ Service. Right out of the box Mic was broken. Weight was loose in the base. Guitar Center replaced microphone(great Customer Service) That being said. Microphone sounds great. It is responsive and has great clarity. My largest concern would obviously be durability, but for the price with cable what do you expect.
I bought 2 of these mics because a friend and I recently started playing some acoustic shows at local coffee houses.Some of these places have PA equiptment and some don't. I was suprised at how well they are made and how good they sound !Some songs I use an old archtop acoustic for slide work and need to use a mic on it,so I also like the on/off switch which allows me to turn the mic off when it's not in use. Not a "10" but a strong "7 or 8" in my opinion !!
I bought this microphone for Christmas to use with my home Karaoke system. It works and sounds great, and kids feel like professional singers! Could not beat the price, which is a bargain compared to other Christmas gifts. I would recommend this!
