  • Not bad!

As reviewed by Art Carnrick on 7/5/2012

I often play outdoors or large venue and invariably a flute or violin player will want to play through a vocal mic... never sounds so good... I can't afford a really top professional mic as I am just a weekend worrior, but I thought this would be worth the risk... for the money... The battery amp I use has no phantom power so I was glad I found a mic that takes a battery... anyway I hooked it up in the studio and recorded a guitar... not that bad... out doors there is going to be wind, crowd noise etc. so most of the highs are going to be lost anyway... it responds up to 16000Hz in theory, but it sounds fine... don't expect a professional recording mic for the money, but expect this mic to do the job in large venues or outdoors...

  • Don't waste your money

As reviewed by Chuck on 3/12/2010

This microphone is a waste of money. It doesn't matter what setting I set on my camera, it is impossible to pick up clean audio with this mic.
