I bought this microphone as a cheap alternative mic to use in the field without having to worry about an expensive piece of equipment. It worked well in the field and I was impressed with the heft and quality of the mics construction. Although I bought the mic to use as an omni-condenser microphone I tried it out as a vocal mic with the cardioid mic feature and it delivered true clarity for my tracks. The added function was a bonus and you cant beat the price!
