I was looking for a simple, effective mixer and a clerk at the local music store recommended this to me. This is a great product: the sound you get out of it is true to the sound you put in, I have used this for several-hour sets at a time and am still on the initial battery, and the little effect knobs can produce a 50s/60s-style reverb (similar to what is used in songs like The Astronauts' "Surf Party") or a full on echo effect depending on how much finesse is used in operation. The only real downside is that there is no master control knob, so to adjust the total volume, each input must be altered.
I use this unit and I'm greatly satisfied with the output. It has great depth, and the echo effects sound great. Small unit with a big sound. Try it, I think you will like it.
Great if you need something basic in a mono application. Love the effects. The only down sides are for audiophiles as it can't handle too much audio volume input and it's a little noisy when cranked up all the way but anything in this price range will have them same issue. Suggested use: Home studio, hobbyist Karaoke DJ, supplemental mic inputs.
