  • BOUNDRY MICS ON A BUDGET

As reviewed by Ellis Stewart on 12/3/2008

I have used these condensers as everything from drum overheads for rock n roll to opera chorus applications and they have performed as well as many other mics that cost AT LEAST 4x's as much. The noise floor is equal to that of many other higher priced models and the overall response and polar pattern is warm and true.

  • Perfect for Small Spaces

As reviewed by MA Brown on 4/29/2008

I am a high school music teacher on a budget. I ordered 3 of these microphones and they are working out tremendously. Their range is wide and the size is perfect. They are working out as a choir mics and as solo and group mics. It is great to have the students just stand in front of them instead of dealing with a mic cord and how close to sing into the mic. These mics have been a positive addition to my limited sound inventory.

  • Good for bands wanting to record

As reviewed by Chuck on 3/16/2011

I bought this mic because I needed a cheap microphone for drum tracks and guitar tracks. It worked out really well. The only problem I had with the microphone was feedback. you have to keep it exactly parallel to the monitor otherwise you get feedback, unless your gain on the board is turned down so low you can't hear it. But overall I'd definitely recommend this to any artist looking to record a demo for press packages, etc.
