Wow!

It's really cheap and it works really well. It comes with two mics, a receiver, two 9v batteries!!! and a 1/4 to line-level (rca plug) cable (mono). For this price with all these accessories, you can't beat it. You may consider buying a line-level (female rca to two male rca) splitter.

Not what I expected

Bought this for my daughters 8th b-day thinking she could sing to her favorite songs without being tied down w/ a wire to a microphone system. We were told to buy an AMP that was good for microphones and instruments..went w/ that suggestion and hooked it up no problem. The issue is the feedback you get on the microphone. It picks up everything including radio stations. We called Cust Service to be told that this happens alot when you use and AMP. Needless to say it's not much fun for an 8 yr old when she can't hear herself sing and we are moving from room to room trying to get the best connnection. It was returned.

If it could be rated with less stars I would do it.

First of all, you people who give it 5 stars should be more specific about the radius in which it works, if you live in the jungle with no interference you might be able to use this all over your house. If you live in the city you might be able to get 8 feet from the unit before you start having issues. The construction of the system is incredibly cheap, however the sound quality for...the...time...it...works...is...fantastic...the pro...blem...is..th..a...t...it...doesn't... work very often. You have to hold the mic in a very specific way and you can't be very far from it. I'm talking I had line of site with the antenna not even 10 feet away in my garage and it starts losing the signal.

not as good as you'd think

i thought this would be really good even for the price b/c of the other reviews.... it wasn't. it works on fm radio, both dont work together well...i cant pick up connection from 3 and a half feet away.. it goes on...
