I have two of Live Wire's Advantage Cable's, one from guitar to effects and one from effects to amp. They work pretty good, but i wanted a longer cable so that I could move around more. I bought one of these for my guitar to effects cable. One really good thing about this cable is that it has the tweed covering, so the cable doesn't get tangled very easily. I only give it four stars because it doesn't have much different sound quality than my previous cables. Gold is more conductive than whatever material they use on the ring part of the cable, I think it's nickel or something. Other advantage is that on the straight connector on these cables, it is heat shrunk, so it's hard to unscrew the thingy. I know that's a big problem I had with the advantage cables that I have. That is all.

I bought this cable because I've tangling issues I've had w/ rubber-clad cables. One of the guys in my band has been using a tweed-wrapped cable w/o tangling problems so I thought I'd give it a try. Maybe it's just me and the way I navigate the stage, but this tweed cable is tangling just as much as my other cables have. The cable works just fine, but didn't cure my tangling tendency. So I'm disappointed in the cable-- doesn't behave like I hoped it would.

Gold on gold baby!

By enoch kennett

Comments about Musician's Gear Tweed Right Angle Instrument Cable:

Yep, gold tweed, gold tip, bam! Would look great with a tweed amp/cab. The tweed is a more muted color then I expected, which is a good thing...I was wondering how bright yellow it would be, and how quickly filth would show up. Nope, it's pretty muted, and feels/coils great. So far no issues, sounds/functions great! Need another one, should have ordered a couple.

Great Cable

By John Lind

from Jacksonville, FL

Comments about Musician's Gear Tweed Right Angle Instrument Cable:

Even if it's an "economy" cable, it doesn't feel the least bit cheap. I like the fabric covering - it prevents getting that rubber feeling on the hands, which, as a guitar player, is important to me. The straight/right angle plugs are good, too, since the guitar's output jack is on the side below the onboard controls. In my book you can't go wrong with this cable?

Comments about Musician's Gear Tweed Right Angle Instrument Cable:

What's to say? It's a guitar cord. But it is constructed well. I have a detachable pickup on my violin and the bow kept hitting the straight plugs, so I bought this one. The ends, especially the right angle end is well made. I've become a fan of the cloth coated cords since they don't seem to bunch up as much after use as the rubber sheathed ones I've been using for three decades. I would buy it again, and have bought more of the cloth covered cords. The price was ok.

This is relativity nice out of the packing but this thing tangles like nobody's business, if you move it at all there will be another tangle in it and it gets really annoying. I would definitely not recommend

Comments about Musician's Gear Tweed Right Angle Instrument Cable:

This cord cost much less than many comparable cords and still does as good a job as expected. It's kinda pretty, too. Can't beat it for the price. It didn't take long to come in after I ordered it, so - good job GC.
