Great antenna stand

By Richard Evans

from Palo Alto, CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

I know that this is a speaker stand, but I wanted a stand on which to mount a VHF/UHF antenna. The antenna I have is a Clearstream 2, about 12" by 24", but designed for outdoor use and only weights a few pounds. Because I live in an apt and cannot mount a TV mast, I have been using the antenna inside with good reception results. While the antenna has a clamp to mount to an antenna mast, until I purchased the speaker stand I was simply propping the antenna against my TV cabinet.I wanted a stand for it that would be secure and allow me to aim the antenna at various TV towers. This one works perfectly. It is a great TV antenna stand.

You Get What You Pay For

By Kirk Marske

from Davenport, Iowa

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

I bought 2 of these stands because they seemed like they were the lightest available and the price was good too. The first time I used them, I had to dig around in my car to find one of the protective tips at the base of the stand because it fell off when I pulled the stand out of my car (from brushing up against a case). I also have to replace one of the nuts from the knobs because it wasn't secured in place well either. To be fair, a "newbie" was using the stand and after the gig unscrewed the knob farther than normal but it still seems like something that should not be accidentally dislodged. Overall they seem like they will work fine for lighter speakers but they will require extra care to last long. I recommend spending a little more for ProLine or OnStage stands which have always worked well for me.

Can't lose on this one

By Joe Higgins

from Burt, NY

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

As long as your speakers are within weights specs, you can't go wrong with these. I can't imagine what anyone needs in a stand beyond these. I ordered a second pair because I gig in FL and NY state and wanted to leave a set in FL. My first set of stands has served me great for 6 years with no problem.

Poor Performance

By Don Boudreau

from Sidney, ME

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

The speakers stands are not very high quality. One of them had the knob that tightens the clamp break. So I asked for a replacement only to get another one that had the end cap of the stand that the speaker sits on shattered in transit. While they function okay you get what you pay for.

Very nice

By Hunter

from Ohio

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

I got a pair of these to go along with my harbinger speaker pair, light weight speakers but these stands are great, they are very adjustable. Until i get mains to round out my pa set, i wont know if they hold a good 40 pounds. but i love them, cheap, quality, but who knows how long they will last.

Awesome speaker stand

By Barry

from Hardy, VA

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

I purchased these site unseen online for my new Yamaha pas300 system. At $29.00 I wasn't sure what to expect but when they arrived I was amazed at the quality! They are very sturdy but easy to fold right up and put your speaker on and they are also easily adjustable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs an inexpensive, well built setup, that is portable and can easily be moved around from place to place.

Xcellent spkr. stands

By Gary Sternaman

from Parma, MI

Comments about Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:

These stands are the best, for P.A. systems and/or monitors. You can't beat 'em, and the Guitar Center is the place to buy ALL of your gear. They take care of me 110% for every purchase I make, in store or online.
