Bad Snake

By charles reynolds

from Temecula, California

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

I ordered one of these and was discovered that the cables were all wired incorrectly. The shield and the -signal were reversed on all the connectors. Also, the wiring seemed very frail and the soldering in the box was poor. I returned it and bought a higher quality unit. I would NOT recommend this for a setup that is mobile. If the wiring was correct it MIGHT be suitable for a home studio situation, or other light duty work.

Horrible..

By chase carey

from Hot Springs, AR

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

I've never taken the time to give something a bad review.. But this snake has some grounding issues or something. It creates a horrible feedback, and it is the solely from the snake, I did everything to figure out what the issue was and when it came down to it, it was just a bad product. Spend your money on something functional.

BAD Snake

By charles reynolds

from Temecula, CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

I bought this snake to use for our church for mobile setup. It was wired wrong. Pin 1 and 3 were reversed. Pin 1 should be the shield. Will be returning it. I opened up the Box and the soldering was poor and the wires were very small. I would NOT recommend this snake for a mobile setup.

Not impressed

By Gregory More

from NJ

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

I've been doing sound for a monthly concert series for a year and a half. I don't know how old the CSN100-124 (12 ins/4 outs) is or how much use it had before I arrived. Now, it is used once a month fall through spring so hardly rough touring. Also, we suspend the snake so it isn't walked on by the audience. An input connector broke so that we couldn't remove a mic cable and several lines were bad. We just got it back from servicing which cost as much as the snake cost new and it still doesn't work right (failed my cable tester, bad buzz in at least one input). Thanks a lot Triple S repair shop ;-(. Do NOT buy cheap snakes. It is a false economy and the problems they cause will make you old before your time.

Excellent Product for the Price

By Jim England

from Garland, TX

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

I am using this snake in a permanent setup in our church. It seems ideal for this type of application, and the quality of the components are excellent with no noise, etc. For the price, this line of snakes is affordable for those who need the functionality on a tight budget. I highly recommend it! This is the second snake I have purchased in this product line, and I have been using it for over 10 years with no problems. Still looks and works like new.

Youth Group Lodge

By Jeremy B

from Bremerton, WA.

Comments about Musician's Gear Stage Snake:

This item is legit. We are running this product in our building for youth group programming at our church. The cords are robust, clearly labeled, sturdy and the quality on the inside of the box is great (took it apart to see)! Sound is clear and crisp for vocals and instruments.
