I bought one of these in 2001 and have played countless gigs with it and it's perfect everytime. You can get more effects if you use the Boss Tuner and Boss Noisegate, they both power another pedal. I have my wireless, tuner, distortion, chorus, phase 90, chorus, wah, delay, noise gate ALL on this board and powered. Plug it in, 2 wires to gtr and amp and you're set up and ready. If you don't beat your stuff around this thing will last forever.

It is small and flimsy. It doesn't give consistent power and the bag is absolute rubbish. the shoulder strap broke off of mine two days after i got it and the pocket and padding is rather insufficent. after three days the screws that hold the board to the power supply ripped out from using my wah pedal and then the foam strip that holds it in place on the floor peeled off. Over all i will say it is only marginaly better than transporting your pedals individualy.

More than I expected

By Smitty

from Harrisburg, OR

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this product, but I am TOTALLY happy with it! The board is well made with attention to detail and good finish, the bag is sturdy and well made too. The included velcro for securing your pedals to the board is probably the strongest I have ever used. Best of all...it works! The ONLY thing I can think of that would make this product better than it is, would to to package the board with a kit that allowed you to cut your own cables to the exact length that you need. Other than that...this pedal board is perfect!

Slick Pedal Board

By Turnatcrapdown

from San Diego, CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This POWERED Pedal board will tidy up the whole stomp box mess, quick. I bought another pedal and needed another "wall wart" power supply .... that's crazy ! This board is self powered for 6 pedals. Quick and easy to zip it all up and head out for a gig. Unzip, plug in and your ready to rock. Super price .... best buy !!!!!!

Great board at a great price

By Trephanationman

from Akron Ohio

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

It does the job that you ask. Comes with everything you need to get started, minus the 1/4 jack cords. It is pretty durable for a soft shell case. I love it. Anyone pay twice the cost for a product similar to this needs their head examined. A hard shell would be nice but not $100 nicer. Good buy! If you are even looking at this product then I think you need it.

Great value for the money

By Dan Nassif

from Minneapolis, MN

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I play bass in a classic rock band. I have three effects pedals, not a lot, but have been having trouble at gigs getting all the pedals hooked up, powered up and working at the same time. This product solved the problem; at my last gig I just plugged the power adapter from the pedalboard into the outlet, hooked up my guitar and amp, and everything was set. Very easy! Only downside is I don't need something this big with three pedals. Guess I'll need to add some effects.

Great buy

By Hi

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This board is really convenient. First off, the bag is well made. I have seen powered pedal boards for more money with easy tear carrying bags.It comes with some diffrent types of power cords that will work for diffrent pedals. Far better than trying to use a napsack. Also the velcro itself is decent quality. Some pedal boards have cheap quality velcro that will not last long. I would recommend this to any one.

Great Pedal Board for the Price...

By Caleb

from Henderson, NV

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I have received this Pedal Board just before Christmas. It was a Christmas gift to myself and I quite honestly I think it is a great deal for the price. I am a Bass Player and I have a Zoom 506/II, Boss Synthesizer/Syb-3, Boss Bass Limiter Enhancer, Boss Noise Suppressor, Behringer/Hell Babe Wah Wah. And this Pedal Board works great for all 5 Pedals. I am impressed for the price that I paid for it. I would recommend this Pedal Board to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive Pedal Board.

Good price for what you get!

By Rich P.

from Charleston, SC

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I had to order this online since my local GC didn't have one in stock. The picture shows 5 pedals and a cry baby (No Interconnects). I have Hardwire Tuner, Hardwire Valve Distortion, Dunlop Cry Baby, Hardwire Chorus and Hardwire Reverb. I had to stack the tuner and distortion pedal to the right of the cry baby to get the pedals to fit with the interconnects plugged in. This is a good little board for it's size. I can't add any other pedals though. All I do is use it at home and take it to church to play and back. The padded carrying case is very helpful for that. I would recommend this board to anyone that doesn't have a lot of pedals.

Absolutly amazing for the price

By Tony Phillis

from Rock Island Illionis

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

You get so much with this, the board itself is very durable and has plenty of space for all of your pedals. It comes with a few different types of adapters (Male & Female) for any kind of pedal. The gig bag is great, light, & comfortable, the velcro is strong, it's an incredible buy, i strongly suggest it for any guitarist.

Unreliable

By guitarerer94

from NJ

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This pedalboard seemed well worth it at first, so i bought it. It worked perfectly for the first couple months, until i noticed my signal started shorting out at a gig. the power splitter broke! I could only use one of my pedals for the rest of that gig, bummer. My advice: Don't buy this pedalboard! if you gig even just once every other month, this pedalboard will eventually break. I would velcro pedals to a wood board and split a one spot 9 volt (or whatever you're using) with a Visual Sound Multi Plug 5 or 8 cable. That way, you don't have to rely on a cheap board for your pedals to have constant power

Extremely cheap construction.

By noe perez

from Chicago IL

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Great concept and portability but I really wish everything was built better. I've had it for a month and a half now and three screws already fell off and the adapter is fritzed out and doesn't work..The board that everything velcros to is made of extremely cheap wood and the screws stripped right through their holes.. Mind that I do play atleast 2gigs a weekend, this thing didn't hold a chance. Totally forgot to get pro coverage...

Pedalboard/Gig bag

By Bobby Blackmon

from Orlando, Fl

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This a very nice addition to my gig arsenal. It's very easy to set up and holds 4 pedals and I put my Wah pedal on the floor because of ease of use. It's light weight (not bulky) and easy to carry. The price was right;buy it.

was real good for about a week

By Rick Jimenez

from Huntington Station, NY

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

the screws that hold the power strip to the actual pedal board were stripped within days and the power strip was left hanging. the zippers (both of them!) were off track within a week and the case no longer closes. this is a step up from my home-made wooden and velcro pedal board but definitely not road worthy and i'm furious i spent this much money on it. i am looking into being refunded or given a replacement but i am not confident either of those will happen. don't waste your money if you plan on using this for live gigs. studio work maybe but why bother having a case of this nature if not for live shows...

terrible.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I got it within 2 days of ordering it which was nice. But clearly realized why. They didn't even put it together I had to drill the circuit board into the actual wood. After putting my pedals on it became very flimsy due to the weight. And to top things off, the AC adapter gives off a loud annoying buzz when my pedals are on. Total waste of money.

Works...For A Time

By Garrett Thomas

from Rock Hill, SC

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This was my first pedalboard, and it worked. Easily transportable, great case, the electronics work fine, great concept and great price. However, it's no Pedaltrain, and it's on the lower end of the quality spectrum. As a guitarist AND singer, I don't need a lot of pedals, and it fit my Fulltone Fulldrive, Boss MD-2, Boss tuner, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, and Boss DD-20 fine, with some imaginitive setup. I did three gigs with it and I had to take it back and get my money back. Don't get me wrong, it's a good starter board. Four things: 1) Don't be rough with it, 2) Do NOT use it on a carpeted surface--it needs the support of hard floor or the strip/wedge will loosen from the actual board, 3) find a pedal layout and don't change it, because the cloth surface and the board will come apart if you keep changing your layout, and 4) Know that it's only temporary.

Keep looking.....

By Jerry Gregg

from Yuba City CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

New to pedalboards and this had a great description....poor execution. The bag has a poor design (opens backwards/upside down from how it should), came with zipper pulled apart (poor quality), and the screws holding the electronics had been pulled out from the board due to using particle board for construction (must have taken a hit in shipping). The power supply is not isolated, so I had a fair amount of hum that couldn't be eliminated so I had to power my pedals with their original power supply. I returned it and picked up a Pedaltrain (solid metal) board and VoodooLabs power supply......now I'm cookin'. Reasonable cost, and far better quality.

Nice Value

By Scott Gray

from Dahlonega, GA

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This pedalboard delivered as advertised. It was a perfect fit for my requirements and, so far, has been reliable. The included case, cables and velcro made installation a snap. It's a great bang for buck product.
