I bought one of these in 2001 and have played countless gigs with it and it's perfect everytime. You can get more effects if you use the Boss Tuner and Boss Noisegate, they both power another pedal. I have my wireless, tuner, distortion, chorus, phase 90, chorus, wah, delay, noise gate ALL on this board and powered. Plug it in, 2 wires to gtr and amp and you're set up and ready. If you don't beat your stuff around this thing will last forever.

It is small and flimsy. It doesn't give consistent power and the bag is absolute rubbish. the shoulder strap broke off of mine two days after i got it and the pocket and padding is rather insufficent. after three days the screws that hold the board to the power supply ripped out from using my wah pedal and then the foam strip that holds it in place on the floor peeled off. Over all i will say it is only marginaly better than transporting your pedals individualy.

Power will not power BeatBuddy and all other peddles. Some peddles will have to be powered seprately.

    terrible.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I got it within 2 days of ordering it which was nice. But clearly realized why. They didn't even put it together I had to drill the circuit board into the actual wood. After putting my pedals on it became very flimsy due to the weight. And to top things off, the AC adapter gives off a loud annoying buzz when my pedals are on. Total waste of money.

Chap construction. Noisy. Save up and get a real board or make one and add a VooDoo power unit.

    Keep looking.....

    By Jerry Gregg

    from Yuba City CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

New to pedalboards and this had a great description....poor execution. The bag has a poor design (opens backwards/upside down from how it should), came with zipper pulled apart (poor quality), and the screws holding the electronics had been pulled out from the board due to using particle board for construction (must have taken a hit in shipping). The power supply is not isolated, so I had a fair amount of hum that couldn't be eliminated so I had to power my pedals with their original power supply. I returned it and picked up a Pedaltrain (solid metal) board and VoodooLabs power supply......now I'm cookin'. Reasonable cost, and far better quality.

    Works...For A Time

    By Garrett Thomas

    from Rock Hill, SC

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

This was my first pedalboard, and it worked. Easily transportable, great case, the electronics work fine, great concept and great price. However, it's no Pedaltrain, and it's on the lower end of the quality spectrum. As a guitarist AND singer, I don't need a lot of pedals, and it fit my Fulltone Fulldrive, Boss MD-2, Boss tuner, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, and Boss DD-20 fine, with some imaginitive setup. I did three gigs with it and I had to take it back and get my money back. Don't get me wrong, it's a good starter board. Four things: 1) Don't be rough with it, 2) Do NOT use it on a carpeted surface--it needs the support of hard floor or the strip/wedge will loosen from the actual board, 3) find a pedal layout and don't change it, because the cloth surface and the board will come apart if you keep changing your layout, and 4) Know that it's only temporary.

    Cheap Construction

    By Rob Fauth

    from Rincon, GA

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Within 6 months, handle broke, velcro that held board to bag tore up. The velcro that holds the pedals to the board get's worn out too quickly, especially since you have to carry it on it's side, the pedals slide around while you are carrying it. Also the board doesn't come with an adapter that fits right, had to hold the a/c adapter in with duct tape. Get what you pay for.

    Does the job

    By Kelly Baker

    from Denton, TX

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Good value for a solid and easily portable unit. It's pretty basic, and by that I mean that it comes with six 9V adapter cables, a couple of line in cables and a 9V battery adapter as well. Nice carrying case, but definitely not road worthy. Simple and gets the job done... probably built more for home/studio usage than gigging, but you won't get a pedal board this nice for the same price. Would be perfect if it included more outputs(a few 12 volt outputs maybe)and a power supply for wall warts. For the price, it is perfect... if you have the need for more than 6 pedals, look elsewhere. Otherwise, it's a good choice for a home board.

    Extremely cheap construction.

    By noe perez

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Great concept and portability but I really wish everything was built better. I've had it for a month and a half now and three screws already fell off and the adapter is fritzed out and doesn't work..The board that everything velcros to is made of extremely cheap wood and the screws stripped right through their holes.. Mind that I do play atleast 2gigs a weekend, this thing didn't hold a chance. Totally forgot to get pro coverage...

    Good Board!

    By Brent Walker

    from Fort Worth, Texas

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Picked up this board a couple days ago. For mostly playing at home, it's great for keeping everything organized and it's also great as a power supply. However, the whole board shorts out when I connect the 9 volt power supply to my Cry Baby and plug in the guitar. No power whatsoever. So I'm stuck using a battery for that unless I can figure out the problem. Other than that, great board but I can't see it being used for gigging. If you're just playing at home, or the occasional gig, it's a good buy.

    Works Great

    By Gibson Fender

    from Oregon

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Great product it works for all my boss pedals and it even works for my crybaby pedal although I wish it had a cable specifically for it cause i had to tape it to get it to stay in but otherwise makes set up so much more easier and i don't have to keep buying batteries.
